I only had a 360, never really had a huge library etiher but these are my favourites, in no particular order;

- Skyrim, need I say more

- GTA V, extremely fun online multiplayer, especially with friends

- NFS Carbon (the last true NFS imo)

- CoD 4, enjoyed playing competitively on gamebattles with a few real life friends

- Halo 3, great co-op campaing and online multiplayer

Few other honorable mentions would probably be; GoW 1&2, AC, Battlefield 3. I was kinda mainstream and tended to play mainly multiplayer, whatever my friends were playing. I however hope to play a lot of different games/ genres on my Xbox One!

Thanks man, appreciate the advice. Always hate games that are ruined by the micro-transaction plague. I honestly have nothing against DLC that adds value e.g. cod map packs, gta story lines. But paying £5 for a tiny piece of content that should be an in game reward is so annoying, e.g. gun/ character skins on cod, cars on forza etc.

Yeah I've never played a Forza before so I wouldn't really be disappointed when comparing it to the older games (since I've not played them). Just really bored at the moment, got FIFA, CoD and Battlefield on launch, played loads of FIFA but hardly touched the other two. Looking for a few new games to get me through until the end of the year when some new titles come out, already ordered DR3 and AC:BF. I think I'll likely just buy it as I know I like racing games and this has great reviews gameplay-wise.

Personally for me it would have to be either Skyrim or GTA V, as I'm a big fan of RPG's.

If I had to choose one I would probably say... GTA V. The reason being, the multiplayer is so fun with group of friends. Despite all the bugs and glitches etc people have abused since launch, it was still extremely fun just playing with friends, killing, being killed, blowing up peoples vehicles (bad sport was such a crap feature), horde/survival modes and just having a showroom filled with super cars. I could play GTA V for hours on end with a group of 5-6 mates and never get bored. Skyrim was amazing too, best single player game I've ever played, but I always have the most fun when playing with friends

I really wanted to buy Forza 5 shortly after launch to play on my Xbox One as it simply looks amazing and its been a very long time since I've played a racing sim. However I was extremely put off by all the negative reviews regarding micro-transactions. I haven't played it myself so please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I heard there was basically a progression wall where if you wanted to get the best cars you either; a) grinded for an endless number of hours, or b) pay extortionate prices for them with real money. I found this scandalous, and as a strong opposer of micro-transactions in full retail price games this completely deterred me from buying it.

However I've only recently found out that they have since changed this (in December afaik), by significantly reducing the cost of cars when using in game currency while at the same time increasing the rate at which you earn said in game currency.

Without a doubt the game play and visuals are fantastic, the huge gripe myself and many others had was the in game economy. So, my question is, have these changes solved the issue, allowing you to unlock cars at a reasonable rate without purchasing them via micro-transactions? Appreciate any feedback from players who have played both before and after, or even just after this update.

Thanks!

I'm looking to buy a next gen gaming headset and I need some help. I recently bought the Turtle Beach XO7's but wasn't very impressed for a number of reasons;

-no voice feedback

-poor volume control, no PC compatibility

- and worst of all, sound chopping (afaik this is related to the audio transmitting via the controllers wireless and the xbox), it's extremely annoying and constantly after about 10 minutes of use.

Anyways I've sent these back as I don't feel they're worth the £130 I paid.

I'm looking for a new headset now and I could increase my budget to around £200 - £250 for a top quality headset, however it would need the following;

- full compatibility with PC, XBOX One (including audio though I am willing to buy the adapter) and mobile devices

- great sound quality, primarily for gaming, but also for music/ movies from time to time

- good quality build and comfortable

- wireless preferred, but wouldnt mind wired if it meant better sound quality + compatibility

Sorry about the essay but I would really appreciate your help as I'm willing to invest £200 - £250 and any experiences you guys have had with your headsets, especially with next gen consoles would be extremely helpful and very much appreciated, thanks!

edit: I have done a little research myself already and am particularly interested in the astro a40/a50's so if anyone has used this with the xbox one and pc and could give me some insight as to how they were it would be great.
