Rating my DVDs

I've been watching through my DVD collection (posted in the last blog) and assigning them grades after I watch a movie. These are based on some mixture of quality, enjoyment, and other factors assessed immediately after viewing. Ideally, a higher number means something to the effect of of "I would rather watch this movie".

Note: I tended to list boxed sets together, and individual purchases seperate. Examples: Die Hards and Rockys were x number of individual movies, whereas The Bourne Trilogy and The Godfather Trilogy came bundled.

If I did the math right, total 89 movies and 11 television seasons. I was a little disappointed I hadn't reached triple digits yet, but that will come in time. Any reccomendations for glaring omissions that I should keep an eye out for will be noted.

BTW, Please don't sneak out here and steal my movies. Thank you. (yeah, that'll totally keep them away)

Not letting me post in the NFL Union Forum

This stupid computer does that sometimes, so I am posting my picks here.

Sunday, October 18th
St Louis @ Jacksonville They shouldn't have too many issues.
NY Giants @ New Orleans Giants seem more legit.
Baltimore @ Minnesota Vikings havn't really given me a reason to doubt them yet.
Detroit @ Green Bay I think it will be close.
Houston @ Cincinnati Texans can't stop any aspect of the Bengals offense.
Cleveland @ Pittsburgh Guys returning from injury, Browns would lose anyway.
Kansas City @ Washington A lot of you are buying into a Chief win this week, I am not. Portis for 100 yards.
Carolina @ Tampa Bay Carolina is less bad.
Arizona @ Seattle In Seattle
Philadelphia @ Oakland Not even close.
Buffalo @ NY Jets Bills look like complete ****.
Tennessee @ New England CBs are injured.
Chicago @ Atlanta Meh.

Monday, October 19th
Denver @ San Diego I could go for an US, but I won't.
DEN: 23 SD: 16

Bought more movies!

My paycheck was burning a hole in my pocket, and since I don't currently need to pay rent, I had to buy something.

Another great haul, I think you will agree:
- The Bourne Trilogy
- Matrix Trilogy + Animatrix (only one I really like is the first, but the whole thing was like 10 bucks)
- Dirty Harry
- Gran Torino
- Saving Private Ryan
- The Big Lebowski
- Seven Pounds
- Crash

I think that was it.

I Have No Room for my Latest DVD Splurge

Bought a bunch of new DVDs today, I think I made off with a great haul:

24: Season 7 (This is what I came in for, plus paper towels)
Braveheart
Anchorman
Pulp Fiction
Wall-E
No Country for Old Men
Sweeney Todd
The Wrestler
Training Day
Fallen (Only got it because it was in a Double Pack with Training Day).

Thoughts?
