[QUOTE="Fantasy_Gamer"]I always liked cartoony character designs.. That's why I love FFVII and FFIX.DreadDLordD

VII was like the reincarnation of Lego Fantasy.

Lego Final Fantasy. That would be....interesting

[QUOTE="valereth-1"]Ugh. Final Fantasy XIII's dialog is incredibly stupid. The plot has quite a few incredibly stupid plot points. Snow is a complete retard Hope whines. Lightning doesn;'t have a personality. Every time Vanille opens her mouth, I want to slug her. There is no exploration at all. There is no environmental interaction. The battle system is incredibly shallow. The game is insultingly linear. In fact, the only things that I have liked are Sahz is a cool character and Lighning punching Snow for being a retard was well deservedcjimrun

Did the battle system give you a hard time? Did you get frustrated, quit, and develop a massive chip on your shoulder?

No. Not at all. The game is pretty easy, actually. I just do not like the battle system. It lacks depth, and it feels like it was designed to take as much control out of the players hands. I hate the fact that if Lightning dies, the game is over. That's just stupid. What's the point of pheonx downs?!

[QUOTE="valereth-1"]Wait....therei s going to be freedom of exploration in FF VS XIII? Sweet! I love that in RPGs. That's part of why I love games like Mass Effect, Fallout KOTOR and the Elder Scrolls series so damned much. That is part of why I loved Final Fantasy XII so damned much and the lack of exploration is part of why I dislike Final Fantasy XIII so much. Exploration is a key element to RPGs. It always has beenmztazmz

dude, where have you been?

Nomura will throw Wada out of a window of the top floor at Square's headquarters before he let's that a-hole ruin Versus. and after XIII, Nomura knows exactly what NOT to do;)

What? I didn't go anywhere :|

No. I was disappointed in that fight
Crisis Core isn't a hard game. But you have to admit fighting Sephiroth was Epic.Balmane

[QUOTE="valereth-1"][QUOTE="cjimrun"][QUOTE="valereth-1"]

We could go by the rules of the last boss in FFX where...you knowl...you can't die.

cjimrun

VII has Final Attack materia + Phoenix; VI has life 3 (re-raise), but somebody would've needed to cast it pre-death...Of course, by the original XIII rules this topic is based on (cuz it's awesome), everyone can just re-try.

You could do that in the otehr games, but in FFX, it is just on your entire party when you enter the battle.

FFXIII is not awesome. It is lame

I think you should double-check the thread topic sir.

The thread title lies, sir.

3D instead of 2D on the DS? Or just 3D coming out of the screen?Balmane
There is a fully voiced remake of Final Fantasy III in 3D for the DS. The PSP trailer shows it in a improved 2D look. Why not take the 3D version, put it on the PSP and oimprove the look of it?!

On unit sales, the Wii is outselling the PS3 and the 360 and always has been

true... cant believe i forgot about that... feel free to smack some sense into me next time i post without thinking again

That being said, the shovelware to good games rate on the Wii is NOT good

Hey Square. Fighting 1000 enemies in a row does not make for a good side quest. It makes for a tedious and annoying one. It does not help that all the enemies you fight for that side quest are basically Shin Ra cannon fodder. They are easy to kill, but the longer it does on, the more chance the game has to throw something cheap your way, and it DOES like to do that

Seriously. Trying to finish this side quest in Crisis Core pissed me off so bad that I am tempted to say eff it and just quit doing side quests all together. I have done 41% of them, but this just pissed me off at how cheap and tedious it is. Seriously,. I went through 71+ rounds of enemies, got bombarded with gun fire and grenades to the point where I was incapable of movement and died because I couldn't move or heal
