Something I've been wondering.  How are the two PSP platforms compatible from a game display standpoint?  Given that the Go's screen isn't as wide as the 3000's what does it do to games that are built for the orginal PSP?  Does it smash up the graphics?  trim the right and left?  or pillar-box the image?  What will happen for new games going forward?  Will the devs have to dev to two different target platforms?

The Go's screen is the same aspect ratio, 16:9, as the other models, it is just a smaller screen by 0.5 inches. Perhaps your eyes are playing tricks on you, but there is no difference in aspect ratio.

I'll deduct 10 points for not adding a second nub and another 10 points for media-less gaming (if that is what is going to happen).  The lack of a UMD doesn't neccesarily mean no interchangeable media (yeah, I'm kidding myself, I know).

So they assume everyone not only has broadband, but also that everyone has a wi-fi network.  I know I took those things for granted for a long time, but as I have recently discovered those things are far from universal.

If they are taking the the PSP the download only route then they are going to shoot off the small fragment of their foot that remains.

There is no way they could have added a second analog stick since the old games wouldn't be able to use it and if new games were programmed to anyone with an older model PSP would be screwed.

Don't know why I'd stick up for anything PSP at this point, but w/e...

The double analog could have been a nice second way to control games more accurately... but thatt pic is a mockup of what the finished goods will be, so it may jump in

That would be nice if the older games could use a second analog stick, but just putting another one on the system doesn't mean those old games would be able to use it. Those games would most likely not be able to use it unless they were reprogrammed to do so.
