@Mickeyminime Most probably because MS has a partnership with NBA/NFL/etc. (remember all those features it had when they first unveiled the XBox One) so to appeal to them more, 8-player sports games might get developed.
@Kickable @trastamad03 True, but then again, lots of people think a capable PC costs around 2000$. With only ~500-600$ (slightly more expensive compared to the consoles) you can get one that'll be powerful enough to run all modern games and up coming games for a while. Not only that, but if someone's on a tight budget, there's lots of components that can be shared between the 2. If you don't want to get a monitor, use the PC on the TV. Same with the sound system. Don't wanna have separate controllers, use it both on PC and next-gen console (give or take 2-3 weeks before they're drivers are added officially and unofficially).
