@zyxe You want our games to change, we want them to stay the same, you want a different game that portrays women differently? Band together to create a development company that can create things the way you want them to be seen, rather than complaining about how we run our projects.

Seriously, this is just silly. How many video games have bad ass female characters? Tomb raider, mortal kombat (and basically every other fighting game), mass effect, dark souls, skyrim, ect ect ect. Are a lot of these characters wearing skimpy outfits? Yes, guys, and a lot of girls, like seeing sexy women. Is a women being objectified just because she's not fully clothed? No more so than the typical bulging muscle man that paints an unrealistic image of men. I'm so sick of people whining about games that don't show things the way they want them to be seen, games have been watered down enough already, having been scrutinized by people who want less violence, less sexual references, less themed story settings that go against their own religious or political or philosophical beliefs. And not only that, but by also having to conform to the general public. We don't need extra pressure on developers to compromise their artistic integrity to make everyone happy, they should be able to make them the way they want, if you don't like it don't play it, go make your own "gender friendly" games. Not only that, but a lot of the time the main bad guys, guys that are represented as evil murderers and rapists and thieves are indeed men, do you see us crying about it saying that women are just as often evil as men? No. People need to stop complaining. Who are you to tell someone they should do things the way you want them to? In my opinion, that's fascism. Go band together and make your own game development company and then you can make whatever you want with it, because it is and should continue to be a free world.
