The reactions to this movie will vary from person to person, and here is why. People are going to theaters in hope of watching a super-spectacular academy-award winning movie. Others are going for the sheer fact that it is Indiana Jones. I am and was the latter, I loved the movie, the one liners, and the fact that it was Indiana Jones. Althought the vine scene was over-done, I felt the aliens and skulls were very acceptable. It is true to Mayan and South American legends, I had studied most of Mesoamerica and the precolombian era this year, the technology and advancement was amazing, and I sometimes wonder if something of this nature could have happened. When you go to the theater, don't be expecting, be excited that you are watching Indiana Jones, the greatest action hero of all time. Indy has always had cheesy and far-fetched parts, but that is what makes the movie so amazing.
