I was at bestbuy and ebgames (Los Angeles area) earlier today and they told me come back from 12pm-2pm today for the new games.

I was wonderingdo these "new games"include all 3 of the following?

1. Assassin's creed

2. Crysis

3. Simcity Societies

please I need to know within the next 20 mins or so!

try and check out steam user forum and 2k technical forum...

if this was anythingas simple as updating the driver i'd be playing this game 11 hours ago

You're assuming the fact that you'll get through problems a lot of steam users have to even get the damn game started.

by the way, the number of views of a blackout screen problem(bioshock.exe has stopped workign prompt)once reached 5000 today on the steam forum.

Some fixed their problem, most didn't.

2k staff basically went to celebrate the amount of idiots who paid for a buggy ass game while leaving the users to figure out how to fix problems on related forums, steam, 2k technical forum, gamespot forum...with 0, and i mean ZERO official response about the numerous bugs and crashes this game has been experiencing.

I haven't even been able to play **** game and have tried everything across these boards, new drivers, new directX, reinstalling/redownloading, removing various security measures. It's like 2k saying what will be will be, if you can play, lucky you, if not, sit in forums until someone who's not paid to solve 2k problems for them, very irresponsible.

So heads up for those of you who's planning onbuying this game, be prepared to be frustrated until 2k comes out with some kind of patch. And by the looks of it, the better your computer is, the more you're gonna get ****ed.

I've got an ALX computer that costs me around 7.2K USD.

Here's some pros and cons:

Everything's built and ready to go, you literally take it out of the box and plug in and start working.

Everything's optimized for you right out of the box.

Both inside and outside of the machine look very clean. The wiring and the cooling system were both professionally done.

It runs great.

cons

like everyone here will tell ya, it is overpriced, no doubt about it. With the similar parts, my 7.2k computer would've cost around 5k if you buy the parts on newegg.com.

My machine took about a month to build.

Bottom line is, if you have the money to throw away and the patients (or a backup computer) to wait for about a month, and you want everything to be done right, go with Alienware.

I have an alienware ALX computer.

Cost me about $7500 with tax and shipping and everything.

Is it overpriced? Of course, actually by about 1.5k- 2kif you buy all the components and build it yourself.

Why you wouldbuy an alienware:

1.You don't haveto go through and order all the parts seperately and worry about compatibility andavailability.

2. You don't have to build it yourself.

3. The system (inside and out) looks extremely clean, the wiring and the cooling systemis done sounfamiliarly perfect. Hell, even the case looks cool.

4.Biggest reason is probably if you have the extra cash to spend.
