As you're in the US you'll be fine importing Blu-ray films from Japan, as both countries are Blu-ray region A. The regions are different from the DVD ones. It's only PS3 games that don't use region locking at the mo, the Blu-ray films still do unless they state that they're region free.

One thing to keep in mind though, is that DLC is still region locked for some stupid reason. I found that out the hard way & hadn't even imported the game, it was being sold normally because they're not region locked. But now I have PSN accounts in 3 different countries so that's no longer a problem either. :)

Ok that makes me feela little bit better, If any of you had to guess though how much longer do you think my lap top will last?

Mainly depends on what type of games you want to be playing on it.

[QUOTE="evildead6789"] You did? i used a single core for gaming till 2006 , i didn't have any money to buy a good pc so i just bought an x360. When hardware price were somewhat more reasonable i bought a decent pc in 2010 lol.evildead6789

You'll like this then, as I'm still using single core, an overclocked Sempron 3000+ system I built at the beggining of 2006! :) Am planning on building a new PC as soon as possible though, just need to do a bit more saving up. Still plays most things I want it to at decent settings though.

I have that single core still also, A p4 2.8 ghz build in 2003, i used it till last year. Then i bought an i3-530, dual core and now have an i5-2500. The difference is big though , with the system i have now i can do anything , i can leave hundreds of browser sessions open, and unzipping takes no time. Everything goes just so much faster including surfing the web, it cost money though.

Yeah, this last year I've definitely noticed it's slower surfing the net, mainly down to the increased flash usage I think but also just in general.

I've got my eye on the i5 series aswell but obviously will depend on what is actually on the market when I've saved the cash. Looking at the 2500K at the mo so I can overclock again. So mainly just the graphics card I'll have to decide about when the time comes, as got the rest of my list ready.

Well if you dont mind playing on low, it doesnt matter what anyone else thinks.

We've all been there. I was still running a single core up until late 2009 :P Yeah, you should be fine running games, but not for maxing them out. So long as that doesnt bother you then its all good.

Skyrim is definitely at the top of my list. I really got into Oblivion & have enjoyed the little bit of Morrowind I've played so far. Haven't pre-ordered it yet though, as I'm waiting to see if there's going to be a special edition & what's included. :)

Mass Effect 3 is very close behind though, as have been really enjoying both the others in the series.

I do like the look of The Witcher 2 aswell but still haven't been able to get the first one to install & try that out, which is very annoying! But have a couple more things to try that I've read before I give up on it.

Really don't know about Deus Ex: Human Revolution, as have never tried any of the games.

Well, 8.0 is still good for me, and thus I will get it ASAP. However, my PC is not working since last night. I only hear a prolonged beep sound when I try to turn it on. I fear it's a memory and or video card issue :(DeadManRollin

Had just started to type saying that I'll still be getting it & that I hope my copy arrives a day early, as pre-ordered the Signature Edition in Dec. And before I got to finish, I had to go sign for it from the postie! So I now have my copy a day before release, with it's nice embossed cover! :)

DMR hope it's nothing major with your PC, I don't know if either of these sites can help shed some light on the problem or if you can check your MB manufacturer's site for beep info.

No worries! There are another five you can get that aren't listed on the page aswell. Facebook again but here this time Dragon Age Legends game. I think it's now an open beta & I've checked that they are actually registering the unlocks in your Bioware profile now aswell. I have got 2 codes if it is still a closed beta & people need them?

I found it pretty good, even created an American PSN account so I could download it earlier. I pre-ordered the signature edition for PS3 in Dec.

If you want to collect the bonus items you can find out how on the Dragon Age site here.

Well I'm looking forward to Dragon Age 2 arriving Thurs/Fri, pre-ordered the signature edition a couple of days after it was announced.

Also plan on ordering Mass Effect 3, Battlefield 3 & am hoping that they announce a special edition of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim soon, as that's the only reason I haven't pre-ordered it yet. Still want to pick up Civilization V at some point aswell. All on PS3 except for Civ V obviously.

I do like the look of it but still haven't been able to play the first one yet. Bought it a few months ago along with Knights Of The Old Republic & Mass Effect but my pc is still at home & they won't play on my fiancee's laptop. Guessing you rate the first one though?
