Well, some months later the forum of War Thunder looks like it's run by the KGB or Nazi. They launched their ground forces(like World of tanks with one-shots) but the dam thing is so freaking broken.

So they keep patching it every few days(they don't really fix anything). So they said they fixed "ghost shells", when you shoot and nothing happens. Of course they didn't fix anything so if you say something isn't working, puf, the thread is gone.

It's amazing at tier 1 maybe tier 2. The higher tiers are broken. Fly models are broken, damage system is based on some random rolls. Match making doesn't work and mixes planes from 1944 with Korea war jets.

If you want to play this game don't waist money because you don't need to go above the "Free" area. Oh, yea, if you want jets like Saber or Mig-15 you have to buy them because it tale ages to grind.

It only looks like it's realistic. All game modes even the "realistic battle" is based on RNG. You shoot somebody and it dies or it doesn't depending how the dice are rolled. Think like world of tanks or world of warplanes and when you shoot somebody it may loose hit points or not.

Answer: no, don't buy it, not right now so it's no point in trying to level over 20. Content at max lv is just an easy face roll, including raids. PvP is broken at lv90, so until they fix it stay away from it

Well, they kind screwed it. Unless you're a hardcore Mechwarrior fan, this game is bad. It doesn't even compare to mechwarrior 3 and 4. Too bad because the MechWarrior universe has a lot of potential and this game is basicaly a PvP arena game, poor way to look at the battlefield, poor way of detecting the enemys on the battlefield.

It's not going to end up well for them especially since there are a lot of other free to play games out there that provide the same experienced.

War Thunder doesn't have anything to do with WoT or WoWp.

Let me put it this way: War Thunder on med settings looks better than World of Warplanes cinematics. On top of that the WarThunder gameplay is way better. Don't waist your time with World of Warplanes

And decides to celebrate with a bit time fail event.

So, they set this event "win 2/5 game and get 100/200 gold" but the event only last 3 hours from 4 to 7 pm.

The event starts and big surprise, the servers crash for about 2 h and you can't play. Eventualy you can log in and ups, in 1 hour you don't have time to even play 5 games, play not win.

Yep, they do that.

If you formulate your thread good enough to attact atention to game problems it gets removed very fast.  If you point to this or that problem from the game you may see your thread vanish. It took me 3 new threads to point out that fixes from the last patch are missing in the newer version.

And then they have the fanboy army. Every thing they write end with "it's just beta". Nerf income of premium planes...it's beta, forget fixes for game crashes...it's beta

Wargamming just added in the latest patch the FV215b 183 (UK Tank destroyer), the new pay2win tank.

This think has a gun so powerfull that it can oneshot any tier 9 tank, most of the medium tanks and tank destroyers of tier 10. Only tier 10 theavy tanks can survive a shot from it's gun. This gun has been designed to work with premium ammo(works with standard too at half the performance) and it's the new milking cow for WG.

I think you should check the original post that was almost 10 months ago. At that time the match making was + 4 tier and you would end up with a tier 6 in a tier 10 battle. So what I said was true.

Since then the match making was changed to +2 tier spread because the game was litteraly coming apart. But Wargamming fixes one problem and creates 2.

-Now premium ammo is available for standard currency and even if it's more expensive you still make a profit in a good game. This completley break the balance of the game because almost all armor is useless now and the game looks like a first person shooter

-high tier battles are infested with artilery and tier 10 tanks get killed with 2 shots like some tier 1 loltraktors. Who wouldn't want to play artilery and shoot at other tanks from a safe distance?

The developers keep adding new tanks(worst than existing ones) but somehow fail to fix the serious problems.
