It's all a question about depth, really.

Having played both titles, World of Warcraft has a bigger, deeper feel to it. Guild Wars just seems so basic and the areas, quests, and gameplay seems so much more limited, plus the graphics seem washed-out.

My vote is for World of Warcraft, for the larger social interaction, deeper gameplay, nicer graphics, riding, and flying mounts. Not to mention that I have a great many friends who play World of Warcraft, and most have never even heard of Guild Wars.

I have one, and yes, it does make a huge difference. I have FiOs internet (15Mb down) and I can see much lower pings now than I ever did with my 3COM Gigabit.

As an example, before my lowest server pings in games were around 15, I thought that was incredible, until I replaced my card with the KillerNIC, I then see pings less than 5! Mostly around 1-2 most times.

So yes people have this card, and yes it makes a difference. My kills per hour went up about 25!

I think i would rather quit PC gaming if that's the only solution.

It's not the only solution, there are other games out there to play other than Bioshock. Many games, not just Bioshock have issues with a 64bit operating system.

Easy, 64 bit version, because it can "SEE" more than 3gb of ram. Personally I have 8gb of ram on my Vista machine, and it runs games beautifully.

It is a great spped, and it is DDR2 ram so it will work with your current DDR2 system, and your 1066FSB,

Did your old Dell rig have a SoundMax card too? If not, it may be that card that is the issue

Look carefully at your BSOD, to determine what driver caused the crash. Google the name of that file, and update the driver that caused it.
