Hi friend. You say about skills that the order is: 1.Alchemy 2.Detect Hidden 3.Dispelling 4.Mercantile 5.Persuasion 6.Stealth I ignore your list and pick up blacksmithing and finish it at level 8. Then i finish sagecrafting at level 17. From level 6 i was able to wear the best gear possible, at least 30% better from any purple or set drops or anything you can buy. Because gear actually makes character stronger, can you please explain to me how your character with the above skillset you propose wasn't 30% weaker than mine? Thanks
Well Oblivion is better than Skyrim indeed. Some people may think that Skyrim is a better game which makes total sense; each individual may have different opinion on game play. Officially Oblivion has been entitled game of the year having a hard predecessor to evolve and a lot of competition around. But the gamers embrace Oblivion and spent hundredths of hours playing, if not thousands. For Skyrim there is no title achievement yet, not that many players playing that many hours. Someone can figure out from mods, there are lots but not in the extend of Oblivion with huge overhaul mods altering the entire game. Not to mention that sales of Skyrim were definitely boost by Oblivion legacy alone. Truth is there are a couple of things i wished to be in Oblivion that exist in Skyrim. The fact that you level up no matter what skill you use is more fair. I wish that in Oblivion you level up even if you use secondary skills. Perk selection is also great, choice is always preferable among most gamers especially for RPG. There are some other facts mostly about making game play in Skyrim more straightforward like potion and scroll effects. This is not important thought. Oblivion has a better world, better and more characters, better and more quests, custom spell making, real penalties for armored wizards, stats that do affect different actions, unique places like the arena and more.
