Piracy on the psp is like taking candy from a baby. Do you believe that piracy is why devlopers don't invest time to make psp games?
Or do you believe that it's just an excuse that doesn't hold water?

I think the answer is that piracy on the psp is a double edged sword. Its bad in that the developers aren't paid for their efforts and thusly aren't as encouraged to produce future games on the psp for lack of a decent paycheck. But at the same time most of my friends who do pirate the games do so as a precaution. They have paid for so many sub par games on the psp in the past that they are tired of being burned so download games illegally to protect their wallets.
Not saying that all psp games are sub par, I enjoy all my games, I don't download, and I do plenty of research on the game I'm interested before I buy it. But, even with those precautions I do still get burned from time to time on a game that turns out to hold my attention for an hour or two at most.
