As long as the person who owns the game is signed in, then anyone else can play it locally.

Speculation much? I assume it will work just like XBLA games work. You can purchase/activate the games on one account then play them on any account that is on the Xbox.

I think Mr. Mattrick is the only one who is backwards if he expects people to buy his console when he trashes those of us who enjoy backwards compatibility.

He is talking about the system not the player, saying that if you are adding BC into a console you are backwards. I do not agree with him, but he is not acting the consumer, he is talking from a business perspective. 

As a service member who brings his xbox 360 majority of the places I travel, because who knows how long you could be stuck waiting incase something breaks, this is my biggest concern with the Xbox one. I have some small hope that it will change after the backlash MS seems to be getting.

To be fair, I wasn't really expecting games at this conference with E3 so close. I like the design of the Xbox as my Sony receiver looks pretty much just like it so it will match :). I didn't like all the news after the conference as I am in the military and like to travel with my systems and such. There have been multiple times where we will get together during times where we have no internet connection and play games as a group together. People bring their own games and we just forget about work and the hardships and just relax. I don't see that happening with the Xbox one unfortunately.

I will wait until E3 to decide if this will be a system to pass on when it releases.

You are right, since they announced exclusive content on one platform they are not allowed to announce it for another platform :roll: It's not like Bungie won't ever be part of another conference before Destiny is released.

How frustrating if true, the used game thing doesn't bother me as much as the internet connection though. I travel a lot for more work and occasionally bring my xbox with me, when traveling I don't always have hotels that have free internet or internet that I can use to connect to my xbox(ones that require a website login) so I won't be able to bring this wherever I go.

Man that sucks, I was just given 467 MS points through Xbox live rewards. Atleast I can do something with mine.

If he wanted to make a point, he should have included the PSP games and PSV and all the "collections" the Sony likes to release.

2 Resistance portable games, 1 Uncharted portable game, 1 released and 1 planned Killzone portable game, Killzone HD remake download, 1 Infamous download game.

And like I said literally every series listed above has 1-3 different "collections" that were released. While collections are good for new adopters, it is also a way for people to repurchase games they might have sold in the past now that is comes all as one package.
