Is anyone else just not ready for next gen? From a graphical and tech standpoint I understand peoples wants and desires to see fresh systems when we've have the current ones for almost a decade, however when I look at my wall of games I have to wonder if I should even be looking towards next gen.
Right now I have 23 Xbox 360 games, and 11 PS3 games that I've started over the last few years and have still yet to finish including Uncharted 3, Halo 4, FarCry3 (though that's not my fault, suffered from the no rocks and no camera glitch, and the "patch" didn't fix it), The Witcher 2, Borderlands 2, Dishonored, Ni No Kuni, and I've not even taken the wrapper off Assassin's Creed 3. I also picked up a Wii U at launch and i'm not even half way though NSMBU.
I look at this, and I really have to wonder if there is any point in me looking forward to next gen right now, I have 34 games that I own and want to finish some day, as well as 11 game that I've actually currently got pre-ordered across the three systems (as well as 2 for the 3DS but those aren't relevent to this current blog), and even some others that I have finished, but would like to go back to and play though on a harder difficulty, and maybe go for all the achievements/trophies in, I just don't think I should be even looking towards next gen right now, never mind get excited for it, as it'll just add more names to my pile of unfinished games.
What about you guys, any of you in the same spot as me? Will you be moving forward into next gen dispite that?
Anyway, thank you guys for reading, this is my first blog and would like to do more, partly as a way of improving my writing "skills", so if you have any advise on areas you think I could improve on, please let me know.
