In general games, hardware specs only bother when it actively hinders the game, such as a massively unstable framerate(SOTC on PS2) or graphics so blurry they're hard to make out(background in FF9). These days neither things happen often and its usually down to trying to uneccessarily push a console beyond what its really capable of that does it.

There are already games out PC 1 would struggle with. That Processor came out in 2009. Also as mentioned you would need almost an entirely new PC to upgrade the CPU in the futures anyway.

I've tried both servers, clearing the cache aswell as using 3 different browsers(Opera, IE and Firefox) nothing has helped. My speed sticks around 40-80KB/sec most of the time. Very very occasionally rising to around 300 but that is a real rarity.

I signed up today for total access so I could download on the spot and video reviews at a decent speed. However the download speeds are terrible, no faster than when I was on a free account. The absolute maximum I've had is 350KB/sec and that was for one episode of on the spot. Every other download I have tried has come down between 40-80KB/sec. Not exactly the "blazing fast" downloads advertised. Its definitely not my internet connection as downloads from other sites come down at 500-600KB/sec. Anyone have any idea how to fix it or have I just been conned?
