@Tux1515: I believe no. I have demo and its shows that 1 player requires an xboxone but 2-12 (or smthg like that) requires Xbox live gold. I think u r ok if you play the game solo.

So you can't download the data?

I've actually never tried Netflix, but I've been buying/watching alot of blu-rays lately. I've been thinking maybe it would be a good time to check out Hulu+ and/or Netflix. I don't have the fastest internet, so there's no way I'd be able to stream anything HD without massive buffering.But if I were allowed to have the stream "download" an hour or two ahead it would probably play through just fine from the beginning. Can the "buffering" of data work like that or does it just automatically dial down the quality really low so that you can stream it continuously?

I know with youtube HD videos I usually just let them download for a couple minutes so I can watch them from the beginning without pauses/buffering, wondering if Netflix can work the same way on PS3?

No, you can't pre-download it or allow it to buffer ahead of time, like youtube. If you dont have a fast internet connection speed and/or have an ethernet cable hooked into your ps3, then it will buffer like crazy. Mine has been rebuffering alot the last few weeks. But I also have Road Runner Lite.

considering its soft and the controller is a slick, hard plastic, plus the fact that my hands sweat whenever I play, the rubber sleeve is perfect for me. And the fact that my wife watches two little girls and when they play bowling, the added protection of that rubber sleeve is a bonus.

Per Nintendo website:

"Error Code: 32017

There appears to be an issue with updating your Wii console.

  1. Try and perform another Wii System Update on your Wii console (how to). 2. If you attempt another Wii System Update and still receive this error code, please call 1-800-255-3700 so that we may assist you further."

Try this link also if you ned to try updating again. But make sure you dont alrdy have 4.3 when you go to system setings to verify what you currently have.

Just bought an LCD TV and thought I would see if I needed the component cable or not. Turned the Wii on with the composite cable and realized yes component cables are needed! I bought the rocketfish cable plugged it in (tight fit) about to plug into the surround sound when realized "Crap! These cables are too short to make it to the surround sound." I can't peel them from the video cable like I can with the old composite cable because of that tough mesh wire cover. Is their something I'm not realizing here? How do I make the connection to the surround sound? Please Help!

Since it is the Wii and the best it puts out is pro-Logic II surround sound, what I had to settle with is hookig the compnents up like normal in the back of my tv, then run a l/r (or red/white sound cable) from the output on my tv to the audio input of my receiver. Thats the best, and easiest way since the best sound you will get out of wii is prologic II.

[QUOTE="Jurassic85"]

[QUOTE="GabuEx"]

My thoughts are that if you care about a game's hype rather than just whether or not the game is good, you're doing it wrong. :P

My thoughts are that people should read before posting sarcastic irrelevant comments :P

The point of the thread was not about whether or not the game was "hyped up enough". It was asking whether or not the quality of the game correlated with the amount of hype it received pre-release, or if it was simply an attempt to capitalize on nostalgia. My stance is the latter.

It would be different if I had said that I don't like the game because it didn't receive enough hype OR that I liked the game due to the amount of hype surrounding it. However that is not what I said.

Let me rephrase it for the simple-minded. Did Goldeney Wii live up to your expectations?

Hmm. I read and reread your post and I agree with GabuEx. Your OP is, 'Did Goldeneye Wii live up to the hype???'...and he said that if you care about the game's hype rather than just whether the game is good, you're doing it wrong... He did respond appropriately I think. If you title a thread that way, then it's rightfully assumed that you appear to care more about the game's hype more than the game being good...If anything, you misquoted him ALOT more than he misquoted you. He didnt say anything about it 'being hyped up enough' like you inferred he said... Your rephrase is completely different than the OP anyway. Be careful of how you post something...It can and will be read a different way than what you probably intended, even if your intent was to ask if the game did 'live up to your expectations...'

I was also wondering about security for the dsi xl.

Can it take WPA security? i thought I read it somewhere that it could.

i think I will have to call Nintendo to find out. You might have to call them as well since no one here will prob know or answer our questions about it.

I thought I read somewhere that the DSi XL can use WPA security when online, as well as the Wii.

Can someone confirm if I can use WPA security oj my DSi XL?
