I hope Wii U gets it, but at the same time I am not sure I would want to buy it since I don't think I would want to support dirty Ubisoft. Also, Ubisoft ruined one of my favorite game series, Splinter Cell. Also, that whole Rayman delay fiasco confirms they're evil.

So, while I really want South Park, I'd probably have to buy it used since I despise Ubisoft.

You have two contradictory things in your statement. Something cannot be QTE heavy and stellar at the same time. In fact, if something has QTEs, I snap it in half and throw it in the garbage disposal. 

Are you not the same person who also claims DmC is a very good game? Yeah, your opinion is trash. Too bad everyone hates DmC and that game flopped so hard. Well, at least the new Tomb Raider reboot does not look nearly as horrendous as the DmC reboot, but it still looks very bad. 

Oh and reviews mean nothing if crappy mediocre piss poor quality games like MGS4, GoW3, or GTAiV get near perfect review scores. Plus I see that Tomb Raider is getting an 8.5 average, but EVERY SINGLE GAME THESE DAYS GETS AN 8.5 AVERAGE!!!!!!!!

Are you serious? The fact that you had to throw God of War and Assassin's Creed in there just invalidates everything you've said thus far.

On the contrary, are you serious? God of War and the Ass series are some of the most mediocre games I have had the unfortunate experience to play. Not my fault you are used to the mediocre games of the current gen. 

2. DmC managed to convert even many stalwart fans of the franchise who assumed Ninja Theory would drop the ball. It's a damn fine game and even assuming some people didn't care for this new direction it is technically a well made endeavor, thus your analysis is as vapid and it is hyperbolic. Again, if you have an intelligent critique that extends beyond allusions to scat and maggots, I'd love to read it.

 

4. Calling the new Tomb Raider "super generic" is vapid and nonsensical. If anything the game is clearly taking a different approach to a franchise that had become entrenched in formulaic design yet you denounce it as stale. Of course, you can't muster up any real criticism outside of your vague statement so I am assuming the primary reason you dislike the game is because you are predisposed to dislike most games, even when that dislike is without cause or logical justification. I'd also point out the flagrant hypocrisy of your whiny lamentation about missing the old Lara given your claim regarding the lack of creativity and variety within this medium. Yes, Tomboy Raider is following a different approach, instead of following the Tomb Raider traditional formula, now it is following the formula of current gen games, thus making the game a generic turd. Just the QTEs alone make the new Tomboy Raider a stinky pile of scat maggot turds. 

Just in the last few months we've enjoyed Far Cry 3, one of the most brilliantly expansive FPS ever made.

- No such thing as a good modern FPS.

DmC was an outstanding reboot that oozes quality at every juncture.

- I laughed so hard that I pooped my pants since DmC reeks of rotten human excrement covered in maggots. Did you even see/play DmC????????

Metal Gear Rising is one of the best action games of this (or any) generation.

- Demo is good. 

The Last of Us looks to be an excellent post-apocalyptic excursion replete with unique combat and survival scenarios.

- Formulaic cut sceney wanna be movie scripted set piece game.

GTAV is once again looking to redefine the open-world construct.

- GTAIV was super boring and the worst GTA. I don't have hope for V.

The new Tomb Raider is, by almost all accounts, a brilliant revision of a classic franchise with an emphasis on the thematic of survival and desperation.

- Looks super generic. I miss the old Lara Croft already. Not a fan of Tomboy Raider.

And that's not even factoring in the PSN and XBLA games, which continue to deliver beautifully divergent experiences.

- Every once in a while something good will come up.
