First Game Completed in 09

Too Human

Too Human

Time took to complete: about 22 hours.

The art in this game was fantastic. Every environment looked like it took ages to create. This was hampered by the awkward camera system though, that wouldn't let you easily look around.

While the game initially seemed very impressive and original, by the end I reallized just how dervitive and similar to other games it really is. The gameplay structure is identical to Spider-Man: Friend or Foe. The boss weaknesses are ones I have seen time and time again in other games.

I originally liked the sound effects, except that you always hear the same sound every time you die, along with a 20 second video clip. This became annoying as I found myself dying close to 200 times during gameplay. I also realized that the sound effects were spotty in places, where pounding enemies with a huge hammer sometimes didn't make a sound. Overall, the game was fun but unbalanced as other reviewers have said.

Verdict: 7.5

Beat Spider-Man: Friend or Foe

by on
Beat Spider-Man: Friend or Foe on the Xbox 360. I have all but one achievement. 925/1000. The last achievement means replaying levels until I have enough tech tokens to upgrade all of Spiderman's friends. This I will do over time as I have lots of other games I want to play right now, including Burnout Paradise, which is an awesome game.
