Based off of graphics, I love this game. Other than that, I can't tell you anything more. I have never been able to get into this game and I quickly get bored within 90 minutes of playing. Not saying it's a bad game, it's just not one I can get into.

Wasn't much of a horror game, but that doesnt mean it was bad. I absolutely loved RE4. It definitely ranks in my top 3 games.
You should be able to understand whats generally going on. The game does a nice job of explaining the back story. If you want to get the most out of it (such as connection with characters ) you need to play the first 3. To me, the game would have been so-so at best without playing the first three.
I bought it two weeks ago and am playing the second act. So far I like it, but don't love it. My biggest issues are that the voice acting is terrible and the controls are clunky. I'm a big fan of stealth games, but am somewhat confused about how to play this game. When I try to be stealthy I just don't enjoy it. Playing a more action oriented style where I shoot more often and then only occasionally hide works, but wasn't what I was expecting. So far the second act seems to be much better than the first so I am going to continue playing. I don't see myself completing it five or six times like some of my friends have though. williamsjj
MGS4 does not have the stealth appeal to it. Thats something it lost. In the older games, you had to be stealthy, but MGS4 seems to encourage you to blow the crap out of people.
I love MGS4 but there are things I don't like. (Cutscenes) It's completly opinion. You don't have to like the game. It's like when I tell people I dont like any of the GTA games, they ask me if I'm crazy.
[QUOTE="MAILER_DAEMON"]They have not. The only legal way to play them is by getting Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence on PS2, as the 2nd disc contains those two games as bonus content, complete with an English translation.Mr_VersipellisNeato. However... it's intensely rare and expensive. i gusess I'll have to splash out. Maybe i'll ask for this + twin snakes at Xmas?
I got my subsistance for $20 at Gamestop w/o the box. This may be luck but I found it on my first day of searching.
Xenosaga is one of the more underrated games. I had a lot of fun for the 11 hours I wasn't mad at the game. Just make sure you fight battles and don't run like I did.
Shadow of the Colossus- Not really a classic yet but extremely overrated. Looks great but the game play is ridiculous. Ride on a horse for 10 min. then kill a giant that had done nothing to bother you. It's like murder, or Colossi abuse.
