Nope...no problem here...run everything from Planetside 2 to WoW, downloading HD art and streaming shows from Amazon regularly...but everything seems cool on my end...Had U-Verse for at least 7+ years

~ S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SoC = 91 hrs

~ Borderlands 1 = 68 hrs

~ Silent Hunter III = 47 hrs

I guess I am considered "casual"...but that's just on STEAM...;)

MoO was originally made by Simtex/published by Microprose...bought by Spectrum Holobyte in 1993...bought by Hasbro Interactive in 1998...bought by Infogames Entertainment 2001...Hasbro Interactive was renamed to Infogrames Interactive and then to Atari Interactive...In 2007, Interactive Game Group acquired the MicroProse brand from Atari Interactive...

Claims as to what titles and other intellectual properties were also acquired by the Interactive Game Group from Infogrames remain unverified, and the last verified owner of MicroProse properties is Infogrames...

The future of the franchise is in question with the Atari bankruptcy and asset auction. The non-profit American Southern University has launched a public bid to salvage the franchise and use the codebase to promote learning in the field and encourage collaborative development.

With all that corporate wrangling...who really knows?!?

Concur...SW:TOR got upwards into the 9 milllion+ bracket for development....and we see how valuable that project has been for Bioware...Founders went Audi....

It made me jump off the fence and pledge...I've always been a sucker for Space-based games ever since Starflight I & II...Since I tend to be an Explorer-type, I went for the 315i pathfinder package...Yeah, I'll be ganked for life but, hopefully it won't be EVE lite....

[QUOTE="topsemag55"]I've got the funds, but it looks like I'm going to have to wait for a while, unless something catches my interest prior to ME3. What game will you buy first in the new year?

But, overall, I'm not impressed.. It's an entertaining game, an okay game, but shallow. So, what was all the hype about? Am I talking to soon, perhaps? I'll keep playing of course, hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised later into the game...

The hype being that the legendary FPS developer iD, using a new engine, was making this....what could go wrong??? ...wait...WHAT?!?
