[QUOTE="Darkman2007"]

once again you come up with bogus lists that mean nothing since its only the opinion of whoever wrote it.

why not back up your claims with actual games.

and for the record I do like the PS1 more then the N64, but I find it funny that you say "the PS1 is better, that other guy said so in his list"

but since were on the topic of opinion not backed up by facts yet 100% correct heres my list of consoles

1. PS1

2. PS2

3. Saturn

4. PS3

5. Dreamcast

6. Mega Drive/Mega CD

7. Nintendo 64

8. Master System

so heres my personal list, a much better list then the rubbish lists you posted .

see how silly that claim I just made really is, its opinion , no better then any other person's opinion, or any gaming website for that matter.

So you as a person, you're better than3 gaming websitescombined...

no , but there opinions are certainly not better then mine. its a gaming website, run by people , what makes them have any more knowledge then me? not much. if anything, Ive found gaming websites tend to print false info, or leave out things, and just like anybody else, they are limited by what consoles they played, where they lives and what games they played. And Ive found there is quite a bit of bias too . but at least I actually said my personal opinion and I can back it up , on the other hand, you say the N64 has no variety, because the PS1 has more games, and more good games at that. list some, I mean if youre going to claim something is better, might as well back it up don't you think?

If i show my list you'll get angry on me so instead, i decided to show others lists to get angry on them, not me.

nintendo 64 , i have a huge library of games for n64 and ps1 , n64 has the best variety , ps1 has the single player games

saturn i only have 5 games for that so i cant pick that cause i dont really know many good games for it plus its hard to find games for it ,

and gbc is a no brainer so i shouldnt mention it yet unless some one actually asks ,

Darkman2007

N64 has the best variety?With only 300(This, is, Sparta!lol)games in its library?

top 100 lists are always going to be flawed, and wrong to everybody but the person writing them they are limited by what games the writer played, what consoles he owned, , genre preference , and even where he/she lives can have an impact. just looking at those lists , I see no Street Fighter Alpha 3, no Panzer Dragoon Saga, no Grandia , no Lunar . seems like they just go by popular opinion , which isn't always right.

Exactly. Well put.

[QUOTE="nameless12345"]

Jumping Flash was interesting but nothing I would call groundbreaking. Mario 64 basically redefined the platformer genre and many platformers that came out later copied it.

Ocarina of Time and Tomb Raider are nothing alike either.

Besides, N64 got Indiana Jones And The Infernal Machine later in it's lifetime.

Goldeneye wasn't so original, it was a Movie licensed game so it's not so interesting, lacks creativity, originality....& about the realism thing.Realism is the nr#1 "Public enemy" of Gaming, realism is what kills gaming.

Super Mario 64+Metroid Prime=Jumping Flash, but on a minor scale.For example,fight the first boss, the Red Dragon with the Sound turned of while listening the Meta Ridley Theme...Jumping Flash was the first 3d platformer in which kids had a character to rely on.

What? Few PC shooters could compare to Goldeneye's level design and variation at the time. Jedi Knight comes to mind and Half-Life was arguably the better game but it also came out a year later.

And no, realism does not kill gaming. I play many realistic games and enjoy them. Infact it was Goldeneye that helped turn the shift from unrealistic, futuristic arcade shooters like Quake and Unreal to more realistic shooters that are very popular today.

I also wouldn't compare Jumping Flash to those two games. It was a cute platformer but something only the biggest PS1 fans could praise so much.

I mean you had better platformers even on the PS1.

Look man, this is all i have left to say http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8K87H3T1UU
