You know what would be really awesome?

If GameSpot could fix their unbelievably broken site sometime before the next century. I can't update my games collection properly anymore, my banner image randomly disappears, and half my posts on the board don't register.

Boo hiss. Boo hiss.

Do you ever wish game development would just stop for a little while?

...I do.

Our collection just broke 500 games!

Pretty cool milestone for us and our hobby :)
Gaming and collecting has really become something else for myself and my fiancée this past year, with so much going on in our personal lives it has given us some additional focus and a harmless way to let off steam, plus it's something we just love sharing with each other. In a strange way I'm proud of what we have achieved together in terms of our gaming collection, it's something we've sought out, built up and enjoyed together. Plus you know, it just makes me happy to be with a massive gaming nerd :)

Black Ops Class Generator

If, like me, you get a little bored of playing Call of Duty: Black Ops with the same old set ups, try this random class generator to mix things up a little bit. It's pretty fun! Not so fun when it gives you an M60 with an Infrared Scope though.

The day the music died.

The day I've been dreading for two years and three months has finally arrived; my Xbox 360 couldn't handle the stress of Crysis 2 and breathed her last. No red rings of death for me though, well not completely anyway. Two red rings to signal an overheating problem, a problem which isn't covered by warranty. I could dish out £80 to get it fixed but the chances of it happening again are too high.

It's bizarre how strangely attached I became to my 360. Video games have become an important escape for me, especially in more recent years when I've been quite sick. On the days when I struggle and I'm in pain, playing Xbox offers me something to focus on, so having my 360 die on me was really rather unpleasant. Luckily for me my valiant sweetheart of a fiancée has some money set aside for a rainy day and is going to buy me a new slim model in the morning! Though we currently have around 80 pounds worth of store credit so it won't be too expensive to replace. It's just a shame, after all this time I thought my 60gb Jasper wouldn't play me like this, but I can't say I'm surprised. Deep down I always knew it'd crap out eventually. Silly Microsoft.

If any of you have a Tumblr, I post there a lot more than I do here so feel free to check it out :)
