This game is good. Im struggling immensely with the difficulty as Ive never played a souls game but honestly this game got waaay overrated. sure the level design is cool and all, looks kinda like Thief but this game can get very boring especially when you keep dying and dying. YOU KNOW every time where the enemies are gonna be, they are just sitting behind some box waiting for you. and whats with all these damn boxes and coffins? Sure I found a short cut or 2 behind some of them further in the level but Im sitting here breaking all these damn things, messing up my axe durability thinking im gonna find something. Why the hell did they make all these breakable items if theres barely and I mean barely anything in them??? I OWN this game(you can check PSN name Ker0sene80) but Im not having all that much fun with it. Its NOT a 9.5 IMO. Many times I'll lock onto an enemy and my guy will swing past him and completely miss, having to back track all the way to the beginning of central Yharnam to get to the hunters dream sucks and for someone who is new at these type of games, they dont really help you that much with what everything means in the inventory/consumables menu.
Like I said the game is great, its certainly the best PS4(only) game but IMO Lords of the Fallen give it a good run for its money. Say what you will, not everyone HAS to think this game is all that great, i know 3 of my friends that didnt even buy the game and went on metacritic and rated it a 10 just to raise the score... Not sure why the hell anyone uses that site to determine a games score???? The creator designed this game with the idea that everyone has played a Souls game and that sucks. Obviously everyone who owns a ps4 is going to buy this game, the console is STARVED for good games...
