I took a preparation test for driving today. I got an 82%, because I was so nervous that I forgot to take it out of park when I did uphill parking, and I screwed up my parallel park. :|

I'm now in a band. F*** yeah.

I would talk about how I did on my road test to make you feel better, sirra, but it was so terrible that I don't even feen like talking about it. :| So I will anyway.

In New York (I don't know if it's different in other states) you can't get more than 30 points on your test or you fail. I got 75. According to the b!tchy lady, I wasn't aware at all whenever I came to an intersection; according to her, I need to look both ways, even if I don't have a stop sign and I'm going straight (for the record, NOBODY ever told me I had to do this). Me starting the car in Neutral instead of Drive and hitting the curb while trying to parallel park didn't help, either. I guess I was just that nervous, and I felt like I was on a Spongebob episode after all was said and done.

It was not a fun day.

Oh dear. I was never told you have to look both ways, either, just that you need to make sure you're prepared to yield the right-of-way if someone speeds past a stop sign. :|

Okie dokie, I had my first behind-the-wheel driving lesson today.

Ahem. Things I did wrong:

-Went too slow (45 in a 55 zone, 10 in a 20, and 5 in a 35 because I was just starting to drive and I was going over a paranoia-striking piece of road with steep ditches all around)
-Drove past a stop sign because I was nervous about the fact that I saw a cop 2 blocks before and didn't remember to stop.
-Forgot to check my blindspot before switching lanes.
-Went off the road many, MANY times because I was afraid of moving too far left and into the other lane, into oncoming traffic.

I also drove past a yellow light and sped up to beat it, but he said it was fine because there were NO cars nearby, and he understood that the lights in my town stay red for a damn long time. :|

The instructor said I was one of the better students he had to deal with because I didn't let things distract me, nor did he have to chew me out for speeding. Which, uh... honestly, the fact that I was a BETTER student than most scares me.

[QUOTE="sirracannal"]

I started Driver's Ed today! :D We did absolutely NOTHING today that I couldn't do much, MUCH easier at home. So I spent 5 hours in a class room doing... absolutely nothing, basically. :x I'm bringing a notebook tomorrow so I can draw and do SOMETHING productive, at least.

DrAwesomeMD

Eesh, 5 hours? That's rough. My driver's ed cIass was 2 hours of cIasswork and videos on days that you weren't scheduled to drive around.

Eeeyep. It's a one-week class, so I'll have my learner's permit by week's end, if not sooner. But being as how 10 hours of classroom time is required for completion of Driver's Ed here, the first two days are long, boring, and painful. I can't wait until Wednesday, because that's when I get to actually drive. :|

[QUOTE="sirracannal"]Aidan, you still haven't answered if any of my art can be featured. :xAidan129

If you draw something that is a complete scene, like... with a background.

Why does it have to have a background?! :x I've only drawn one thing with a background, ever, excluding comics. :|

Separation from McKenzie-sensei is reason enough to return home :x

Seperation from "McKenzie-sensei" is reason to NOT want to return home. :P

Fruity Pebbles are palatable, but I do not like any of the other Pebbles cereals. Cocoa Pebbles are gross, and Marshmallow Pebbles is absolutely disgusting. :|Courtney817
Cocoa Pebbles are delicious.
