@princeev Well, there's this 'hidden' option that allows you to transfer players between clubs ;) Besides, games are finished several months before their release in which time they can't be altered (they need time to burn discs, pack them, distribute, etc.), so you can't really expect most recent transfers to be included.
@SpoonyPizzas I remember the times when I edited every single team (unlicensed) on ps2 versions; changing names, adjusting kits, drawing logos... Those were the times :) Now you can easily patch the game, even on consoles. Just need to download an edited save data.
@EmpireITtech @shuwar My bad. But it still suxxx :D Besides, games are finished some time before the release, and it's probably the same with DLC. So it COULD have been included in the core game, but there's no money in that...
'Some of the things we were proposing were perhaps a little too far into the future' - that's a nice way of saying: 'We screwed up; our ideas were meant to f*ck everyone and milk them dry, but since you've realized, we are changing our policy'. A brilliant marketing strategy, indeed xD
@BradBurns @Yomigaeru ... because technically the game is really good; personally I think SCV has the deepest mechanics of all fighting games. However, if you want something more than just VS matches, there is nothing. Story is lame (thus there was no reason to remove some characters), Legendary is a joke of a mode; everything is about fighting AI without any reason and cutscenes, just random encounters. A major disappointment, considering the series was famous for its overall content and variety of modes. Good thing is, if they are testing the ground with F2P they haven't given up on the franchise yet.
This should be (maybe even was meant to) included in the core SCV game, because the only major downside of the 5 is the lack of any worthwhile (not lasting only a while) single player mode. It could also make a damn good free DLC, but I guess it's even better as a stand-alone title. I'm only worried how the idea of F2P is gonna limit the game. Either way, it's a good ground testing before the 6 and I can't wait to play it. Oh, and give me Taki and Setsuka back.
I played only the demo, but I think this just suxxx. I expected much from the new engine and hoped that the new installment will bring back the old glory, where PES was the only respectable football game. Too bad... Maybe I'll try it a bit more, hopefully there is some hidden value xD
P.S. And those commentators - god, I hate them. How many years more, until someone decides to change it...? It does, however, bring back memories ;P because their dialogues are the same since like PES 5...
