The two reasons he gives are complete and utter BS.
1. I´ve been following the news about the Switch since it started to trickle out and still I´m confused like hell about what it really does. Is it a console, is it a 3DS, is it a tablet, is it networkable? It seems to be all of those, or rather none of those things as it underperforms in every category compared to it´s current rivals and will be left for dead in a year or less.
2. How the hell can it make sense to tout the amount of great games the Switch will have when the console will have 5 (yes, count em, 5) launch titles, while the Dead On Arrival Wii U had 23. The only noteworthy 3rd party titles that are there are the ones that are anyway developed for the ps3 and xbox360 and the switch is getting those lesser versions. It seems that not ONE 3rd party dev is betting even a dollar on the Switch being a success.
@rmiller365: I have honestly never enjoyed as many good quality indie games as this year and I´ve been gaming since Atari 2600 (that´s over 30 years in human years). The same goes for music.
The good stuff, the interesting stuff and the creative stuff is out there, you just need to work a tad bit harder to find it cause the white noise of the Interweb can so easily drown out everything relevant.

Audio Compression does not have anything with capabilities of machines (otherwise the PC version would be far superior) but at what rate the original audio is packaged. It would make literally no sense for Bethesda to have a better rate in one version over the other unless they really wanted a public bashing.
@whatsazerg: If DAY ONE reviews would point this fact out, I honestly think that many, both people unsure about the value of SE and any intelligent consumer, would think twice about buying an INFERIOR version than they were promoting.
To quickly lvl up certain magic skills like Alteration and Conjuring, cast the spell before entering combat and then again after initiating it as you will gain xp for each time the spell triggers the enemy. This way you can get access to two MEAN and TANKY Dremora lords quite early in the game without too much trouble.
There is no way to "patch" a higher bit rate into audio unless they will offer you to download the higher bit rate original files.
These "workarounds" are all based on people already having all the original sound files installed and manually moving them into the new installation folders.
Think Bethesda just thought that since this is essentially a console re-release (the PC version with just a few good mods overtook this years ago in terms of quality) NoOne would check the quality. Thankfully they were wrong.
Remember that this is the first game that Bethesda puts out with the new and IMPROVED NO DAY ONE REVIEWS POLICY. Coincidence?
I have a monster system that runs Doom on full at rock solid 60 fps and this flat, lifeless game hardly keeps it at 60 for 5 secs with hitches, slowdowns and artifacts.
