I'm still alive...I think

by on
Yeah, to anyone who cares, I'm still here...the first time since my last post. As soon as school started I was swept up in the whirlwind that is the college selection process here in NYC. I'm really overwhelmed with all the work and preparation which is why I haven't been on at all. So...sorry and um, yeah.

New Banner & Funny Vid

Another amazing videogame parody by Egoraptor, this time about Trauma Center. This is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time:http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/455919

^Whhhhhhaaaat :o?

Anyway, seeing Brett in the old Packer uniform on my banner kept bringing back memories, which isn't helping me move on. So I just made a quick temporary one on photoshop. I think it came out cool, but now I need a matching red icon :? How does it look though?

Olympics 2008: Which team are you?

by on

Being half-Italian, my colors are red, white, and green. I don't really care to root for the U.S. because they have so many athletes competing and thus, too many chances to win. It makes every medal for America kind of lame in my opinion. I enjoy seeing those lesser known countries bring home a gold for once.

Anyway, who are you rooting for?

Nintendo's Apology

by on

So Nintendo (or at least Iwata) finally acknowledged that this year's E3 was utter crap/fail. He also apologized for not showing any true games for the hardcore crowd:

"If there is any perception that Nintendo is ignoring the core gamers, it's a misunderstanding and we really want to get rid of that misunderstanding by any means," Iwata said. "We are sorry about [the E3] media briefings, specifically for those who were expecting to see Nintendo show something about 'Super Mario' or 'Legend of Zelda.' However, the fact of the matter is the so-called 'big titles' need a long, long development period. ... We really didn't think this year's E3 media briefing was the time to do so." (http://wii.ign.com/articles/892/892854p1.html)

At least we know that they're aware of how us gamers feel. Whether or not they take any action in the matter is yet to be seen. Promising and doing are two different things, especially when it comes to Nintendo, who has said that the Wii will offer 1:1 motion control when it shipped. Now we have to buy the "Motion Plus" attachment to experience that  Anyway, I'm just happy to see that they took accountability for the 2 hours of my life they stole from me.

By the way, I'm trying to get a New York City Union started. I have some takers, but I would like a few more before I kick things off. The union would keep up with fun/interesting/important news and events taking place in the city. You don't have to live here to join, for I think it would be also cool for people interested in visiting the Big Apple. Just comment if you would like to join.

Dead Space Isaac

by on

So yesterday I got kind of bored and decided to draw. It is supposed to be Isaac from EA's new futuristic horror game, "Dead Space."

(He's walking btw, in case you thought his left leg looked a little disfigured :P)

I appreciate any comments/suggestions/critique
