only just watched got. the end was kinda lame. feel like the whole thumbs into eye socket things is kinda rote now.

the sony press conference finishes but the lights don't go up. the screens have gone from sony logos to black. the audience is bewildered. then suddenly a monochrome R* logo appears. it lingers on the screen for what seems an eternity. after an unbearable wait it fades back to black. L.A NOIRE 2 appears and then disappears just as quickly. people question if they actually saw it at all. jack tretton is now sitting on stage in a trenchcoat. he's drinking whiskey and smoking a cigarette. he throws the glass to the ground, it shatters and some liquid pools on the ground. "this job'll be the end of me" he says as he drops the cigarette, stamping it out.
new deus ex to be shown probably. new mass effect maybe. fez 2 at sony, lol.
man, the third episode of kentucky route zero is the same length as the first two combined. got a bit weary of it by the end. it's great still, but they really haven't got the episodic structure down with the huge gaps between episodes etc.
the pc specs for watch dogs, even though i dont really want to play it, are making me think of upgrading. would probably get one of those amd r9 cards.
man, the full version of that transistor trailer song is great.
well i finished transistor. the presentation is incredible, it looks and sounds amazing, and the gameplay is novel though by the end of the game you get ideal setups so there's no more need for experimentation and presumably it would be the same for ng+. the last boss has a pretty cool twist to it.
will probably play ng+ to get some story stuff clearer and do the rest of the challenge rooms.
deeper into transistor now and it's improving. lot more fun as more options up. they do a really good job of encouraging you to experiment with different attacks by linking story elements to them.
Transistor's... interesting? I've just sort of been flailing through it so far. I think lots of information about how to play and what certain attacks do etc. is surfaced pretty poorly, or I've just not paid attention well enough. It's pretty, but too busy a lot of time, Bastion was the same way. They really love putting things in the foreground and its just annoying, imo.
The story seems a bit on the nose so far as well. Shadowy group with a naziesque insignia and the main character's name is literally Red...
Vinny moving back to New York :o
