I'm guessing this kind of thread has came up a million times before... sorry! I want to buy a gaming laptop as opposed to a desktop simply for the sake of portability and a smaller size. I originally wanted to get a PS4, but I was thinking it would be more wise to get a gaming laptop, as most of the games I'd be interested in are multiplat, and I can use my laptop as a regular computer (2 birds with one stone, duh!).

Now the problem is that I have absolutely no experience with gaming PCs. I don't know what the different terms mean, I don't know anything about video cards, CPU, etc... what I'd like to know from you guys is, what's an affordable laptop that can run games that also play on PS4 and Xbox One? I checked out Alienware, and dang it's expensive. Are there any laptops under $1000 that you guys can recommend?

I fell in love with Skyrim (my first Elder Scrolls game), and am really interested in Elder Scrolls Online. I'm just a bit unsure as to what kind of game it is. Is it like Skyrim, where you can just wander around wherever you want, do whatever quests that you want, and just happen to run into other players? (kind of like Runescape, don't hate, I'm just using it as an example)...

Or is Elder Scrolls Online a bit more restrictive, i.e. you can ONLY play multiplayer missions? From the gameplay videos I watched, most of it seemed like army/group battles. Is this what the game focuses on?

What I'm hoping from this game is gameplay like Skyrim, where I can just go wherever I want, whenever I want, play missions by myself, or with friends if I want to... but then again, would any other player be able to just run into me and kill me while I'm playing? I'm really confused as to what the game is going to be like.

OH!!! And one other thing I wanted to ask... are you guys concerned about major lag issues?

Skyrim had some serious lag on the PS3, and I'm just imagining that a huge game like Elder Scrolls Online would be even worse, considering that the game would be live online for the whole time you're playing.

I would say $140 for everything. I think it would be a tough sell because your fat PS3 system is already 9 years old and has a measly 40 GB. You are better off selling each item separately than all together. Did you download the Chains of Olympus and Ghost Of Sparta off that God Of War Saga? If you sell the game and already played those games, your buyer won't be able to download and play those 2 games.

Thanks for the advice; yeah I didn't use the PSP codes on the God of War Saga. So you're going with around $150 as well then?

Anyone else wanna share any thoughts?

First of all I'm really sorry because even I got annoyed when people made these threads in the past. I have looked around online and there's a large range of different prices that I found, so I'm just looking for some more opinions on here. This is what I'd be selling:

-A 40gb fat PS3 and one dualshock controller (perfect working condition, no physical damage either... never had the YLOD or any other issues)
-Heavy Rain (original version)
-GTA5 (original version)
-God of War Saga (HD collection including GOW 1, 2, 3, and the two PSP games)
-Skyrim (original version)

Thanks so much for your help, and yes I have checked online but again, I'd like some more opinions. Thanks!

I gave up on this level and stopped caring when I realized I can't 100% the game till I beat every level with every character. Not wasting any more of my valuable time on it. :P

@The_Deepblue: Yep, I can't even do it with two Tanooki suits. And ever time I fail I have to reset the game because I end up losing my suits. I've spent well over 2 hours trying, and have officially given up. I was originally going to 100% the game, but when I found out that the last few stickers are gained by beating every level with each individual character, nooo way. So done.

I'm probably the only one that hated these games... they felt so bland to me. Bland environments, bland enemies, bland music. Yeah, sure, you're all alone in some weird planet, but that only makes it more bland. :P

I remember in GTA 4, you just had to get out of the flashing circle on the map and drive away for a bit, and you're free. In GTA 5, it's become rather frustrating. Even though I get out of the vicinity of the cops, I can stay still for minutes, and I still won't lose my stars. So, I decide to keep driving away, and then I see that some cop appears in the map from out of nowhere. I try cutting corners, driving as far away as I can, and the cops are still a nuisance. Does anyone else feel this way?
