[QUOTE="sweeten16"]Just back from Tesco and they only had 1 Wii U game on the shelf that being Lego Undercover in the Wii section. Puckhog04

I have literally never heard of Tesco...so I don't really see your point.

I know it's hard to imagine; but there is a world outside your little 5 square mile world.

No.

The tablet controller is stupid beyond belief. That is the thing about console gaming though.

Cyberdot

I'm willing to bet you've never even touched a Wii U.

There is nothing stupid about the Gamepad. It's the best controller ever, by far.

By losing touch do you mean no online subscription fees, massive amounts of DLC on their games, and releasing limited editions for every single one of their games?

Nintendo is definitely out of touch and needs to get with the times.

It's a tablet chip.

Magic will be required to make the PS4/Durango powerful, because their paper specs are in line with $500 hardware.

To me it makes ZERO sense to purchase a PS4 or Xbox 3 when you can get a much better experience on a PC. And don't give me the shitty excuse about "Exclusives" because every exclusive on a Sony or MS machine is just a rehash of an oversaturated genre.

Gears of War <-- not a unique experience

Halo <-- not a unique experience

Uncharted <-- not a unique experience

Killzone, God of War, Forza, Resistance...etc. <-- not unique experiences

Nintendo is the ONLY console platform that offers exclusives that are unique.

Everyone loves to bag on the Wii U. But they all know when that one game they're waiting on releases they will end up purchasing the system.

So will PS4 and Durango still be considered "current genaration" when PC's are 5 times as powerful within 2 years after their release?

The support from PS+ has made purchasing one very tempting.

I am still very turned off by Sony's use of their memory cards.

If a bundle lands for $150 I would probably purchase since my PS Vita library is getting very large from PS+

  • The Gamepad & Off-TV play is 50 times better than Kinect/Move (and Wii U retains Wiimotes)
  • Doesn't require a 24/7 connection to Nintendo Servers
  • Backwards compatability is looking to be a Wii U exlcusive this gen
  • Subscription Free Online Play - looking to be another exlusive
  • Local Multiplayer with separate screens - another Wii U exclusive
  • More likely cheaper games $50-$60 for Wii U
  • Close to $200 cheaper than Xbox/PS4
  • Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Pokemon, Kirby

Nope, nothing good.

What I find hilarious is that ~80% of people that trash talk the system are waiting for a price drop because they know they cannot live without their first party Nintendo titles.
