@Unfallen_Satan You have to absolutlet rush through it to finish the DLC in 90mins. I took my time to explore and get all the audio logs etc... and it was at least 3 hours worth. For me personally I really enjoyed Burial at Sea pt 1.

@vault-boy @rowdyinc they have PS plus which they charge for, and I think they will expand upon that. At least with PS plus you get free games each month etc... but I doubt you will get free PS4 games at launch though so I don't know what they would offer instead. I would guess that sony will have 2 tiers, PS plus and a non sub non MP or non entertainment version where you online get very basic online features.

I seriously think if they can continue to build PS plus and somehow give free PS4 games each month that will make their subscription service much more palatable than what MS will do.

@vault-boy @NFJSupreme Yep, and paid sub service with adds all over your dashboard isn't exactly what I'd call a good thing for consumers. MS are double dipping. It should be no adds on a paid service.

@vault-boy @rowdyinc Yeah, I'm totally expecting sony to charge for online for the PS4 though. Since they see how much MS made with Live on the 360. Though who knows? I may be surprised and no-one charges for online. We can hope lol

All in all I'm really interested to see how Steam reacts to the next gen consoles.

I'm hoping that there is a huge price war on game prices to try and retain customers or build a new base. For me whether I get the next xbox or ps4 totally depends on pricing and online services. I will always get one console as well as having the PC. I think that's the best mix to have.

Well direct comparing how powerful consoles are to the same spec PC is never accurate since coding for only one piece of hardware means you can optimize better etc... hence why launch games look alot worse than games 5-7 years into the cycle. But that doesn't really matter. I've got a PC xbox and ps3 and enjoy them. I really think pricing needs to change for the next gen games. Since Steam has become such a huge platform now I don't think that MS or sony can afford to ignore that kind of competition any longer. So it will be interesting to see the pricing models etc... for next gen. I doubt they will be the same as current gen.

@DarkSaber2k @deathwatch28 @pal_080 The pc version is alot more expensive if you only have an xbox or vice versa ;) If people prefer to game on the couch grab the xbox version, if the pc is their main gaming machine the grab the pc version for sure. I have both and still play on both depending what I feel like doing.
