I actually had Syphon Filter in my first collection. I didn't get into it very much. I suppose I'll have to give another go at it.

I originally bought my first PSP a few months after launch. It was alright, I barely played any games on it and I pretty much just used it as a video player. The DS Lite launched not long after that, and it won me over and I had to have it. I was low on cash at the time, so I traded in my PSP and all my accessories and games and got my DS Lite.

Unfortunately, the games for the DS just weren't what I had pictured. Soon, there were a list of games for the PSP that I was missing out on, and not much action going on for the DS.

Two weeks ago I finally made the choice to buy a new PSP, and I already have 12 games and 4 UMD movies for it. It's awesome, and I'm glad to be back. I still have my DS though. I don't want to miss out on the new Zelda. :P

Quick list of games and accessories:

SOCOM FTB, Puzzle Quest, Tekken, Field Commander, Ace Combat X, Ratchet and Clank, Lego Star Wars 2, MGS Portable Ops, Sid Meiers Pirates, Killzone, Monster Hunter, Guilty Gear, Dark Stalkers

UMD Total Recall, UMD Ghostbusters, UMD The Legend of Zorro (thought it was the Mask of Zorro :( when I bought it), UMD Crash

Nyko Theatre Case, Logitech PSP Case, 2gig mem stick, headphones w/remote, Sony Media Manager

Where do you have this thing set up in your house?  Can it breathe easily?  Is it stuffed in the back of your entertainment center or is it on your carpet?  Is it around large amounts of smoke or dust?  Does your home have old wiring?  Do other appliances burn out in the same room?

If this really is your third xbox, I have a hard time beleiving it's been microsoft's fault every single time.

Huh, I guess they aren't the door handles and are just on the doors themselves.  It was just a quick glance when I first noticed them, but now that I've had a closer look they're too far forward to be the handles.  They are there though.

I just watched a Wii commercial on television and noticed for the first time that the door handles on the little Toyota used in the commercial are shaped like the flying bullet enemies from the Mario games.  Just thought I'd share.

Unless there's a game that he can really get behind, you've got your work cut out for you.  I suggest you buy it yourself and then make him get his own controller if he wants to play.

I actually like all the current consoles.  I have all three, and so far I have enjoyed what they have to offer without any technical difficulties.  Really though, I'd say it's important to support competition between manufacturers.  If Sony had no competition, do you really think they'd deliver the quality they do now?  They wouldn't have a reason to.  Pick and support your favorites, and be glad Nintendo and MS are there to keep them on their toes.
