The MP5 is really good, even compared with the P90. It is powerful at close and maybe medium range, and at long ranges it is possible to hit people if you burst fire. Also, it shares ammo with the M9, so you will get 1 more magazine without bandolier and 3 more magazines with bandolier. I use MP5, red dot sight, bandolier, stopping power, and martyrdom. I get more kills than steady aim because I look down the sights mostly and if someone appeared by surprise I still hip fire pretty accurately because the smg's crosshairs are small enough that if I used steady aim i might as well remove the red dot sight.
Normal (for any game mode and map): iron sight, bandolier, stopping power, deep impact Ghost (for big maps with buildings): silencer, bandolier, uav jammer, dead silence Assault (for indoor+outdoor maps and headquarters): red dot sight, 3 x special grenades, juggernaut, last stand Sniper (for big maps, team deathmatch): acog scope, claymore, stopping power, deep impact Tactical (for small or indoor maps and search and destroy): silencer, 3 x frag grenades, stopping power, martyrdom My favorite is the assault class because I play headquarters a lot.
primary weapon: g36c with silencer (for search and destroy)/g36c with red dot sight (for team deathmatches) side arm: gold desert eagle perk 1: bandolier (for team deathmatches)/3xfrag (for search and destroy) perk 2: stopping power perk 3: martyrdom (for small maps or indoors)/steady aim (for big maps or outdoors) i would burst fire at medium-long range (this is very effective and rapid fire makes the gun recoil too much) and go rapid fire at short range (you can burst fire but you might miss so going fully automatic is usually better) also the g36c has almost zero sway even with the acog scope although the m4 carbine does the same damage and has more rate of fire i find that it isnt very good at burst firing and it has incredibly high sway that even with low recoil it is hard to hit the target at long range basically m16+m4=g36c because it is good at burst firing at long ranges and good at fully automatic at short ranges :)
