31680 I was firing through the achievements until cod 4 and 5 came out. slowed down to a snails pace now. my mate at work has over 60k, hes properly addicted.
I wasn't impressed with it either, finished the main quest and had no desire to play through it again for the achievements. It had its moments but the action side of it got very boring.
There are so many amazing environments in games but standout recently was mirrors edge. Really impressive shading and style, it made you feel like you were in a futuristic city. Short and sweet game. Oh yeah , bioshock - one of the best games i have ever experienced.
I'm on my third 360 now, it sucks when they rrod on you. Very impressed with my 2nd return. It only took 7days to go from england to germany and back. 3 months away from my 3 year warranty, so when this one breaks its £60 or buy a new one time. Its crap that this is such a common problem but it's all worth it when your online!
Just out of interest - has anyone sent the old version (without hdmi) and got a new one back (with hdmi) ??
I have mario Kart and I live in the UK (nice that we get it before the us for once!) Its a great game ,really love it. The only issue i have, when you are using manual with the wheel control, you cant hold your weapon behind you - ie shells and banana skins. When you are in automatic , its fine and using classic controller. I makes for defending yourself against incoming missiles impossible. you can get round it by going automatic, but you sacrifice the boost when drifting. I dont want to have to revert to the controller because i think the wheel works really well. Can anyone correct me if im wrong?
Cod 4, great single player. Its a little bit short but if you play on the hardest setting you wont finish it in a while. And the multiplayer is awesome, it'll keep you going for a long long time.
