This review showcases everything that I think is wrong with reviews and the entire point behind them. Did the reviewer actually enjoy RE5, or RE4? It seems to me as he must not have because this game plays very similar to those games as far as the shooting and such goes. Actually the shooting is improved with the ability to move and take cover. Sure it's not perfect and some don't like it as much as other shooters, but it's certainly not bad. There's no point to write a review for a game when you don't like the genre or type of game.As a long-time RE fan I can say that this game makes some great improvements and really nails the story presentation, like no other RE game has ever done. A 4.5 "Poor" ranking would generally signify that major part of the game are almost broken or not enjoyable at all, and this isn't the case in any way in this game. I can understand that some people won't like the game as much as I did (my game of the year), but if you liked the last few entries in the series then this should be quite enjoyable for you.At the end of the day I guess all reviews are valid as they are just one persons opinion, but I don't feel the right person reviewed this game or something as it's nowhere near a poor experience. Production values are extremely high and everything is executed quite well (a few minor gripes but nothing major).Sucks that there will be people who miss out on such a great game because of low scores like this, that I don't feel are just at all.
