Ever since watching the extras on the extended DVDs for the LotR trilogy with the behind the scenes stuff when I was a kid I wanted to have been in the LotR films :D
I don't want to start posting links and individual bands otherwise I'll get overexcited and spend all evening doing it, so have a look at my Last.fm instead :D
How on earth is it worth it to wait in the cold all night in order to save a couple of hundred bucks on one of these items? I'm glad I only lost an hour and a half of my life and I'll definitely never do so again.superfluidity
Wait, what? am I reading this right? 'Saving a couple of HUNDRED bucks'? o_0 That is totally worth it, bloody hell, clearly some people take so much for granted when they don't see the benefit of saving that much money :/
I have a Creative Zen X-Fi2, it's pretty good, got 64GB for about 190GBP (dunno how much it'd be in USD) it's less well made physically then the ipod touch, (it has a plastic back panel as opposed to the metal one on the ipod, and the touch screen uses a different sort of technology which is a bit less responsive than that of a touch. The sound however is excellent, I've not played around with it yet but you can use custom EQ's and there is also the 'X-Fi' feature which can change how the audio sounds a bit, one of them gives it, 'a live feel', kinda makes the sound seem like it's coming from further away when you are using earphones, which I quite like, it's a matter of personal preference though.
