Sony is in the process of downsizing. This is probably just more hype to the "greatness awaits" line.

Their thinking is to drag everyone along until the co. come up for air.

downsize where your faltering, expand where you make the money.

Its pretty simple, SCE is one of the parts of Sony thats doing well where as other sectors are doing poorly.Better to fund something thats doing well than a dud market.

It kind of defeats the purpose of "going handheld" when you're restricted to places with [fast] internet. You may as well just play it on the PS3/PS4.

I need to say this for every PSnow thread: Downloads >>>>>>>>>>>>> streams

with wifi becoming more commonplace hell even the buses round about here are getting wifi it will eventually be a viable option in many ways, sure it might not be here yet but i'd give it 4-5 years and its possibly a viable option if 4G uptake picks up and continues. Not to mention theres been a fairly big investment in fibre optic by BT and the likes in the UK the past few years, in a few years this cloud computing could become a viable option of play for people on the move if everything falls into place.

The world's becoming a more connected place day by day hell even the vita champions being connected to PSN cause lets face it to even get the best out it you need to be online with it.

hooray for capitalism.

a thing the board seems inept to understand.

I'd rather they focus on GTA 6 tbh, new gen new GTA unless they get a seperate studio to port it although GTA IV on the PC was a mess at launch and handled by another studio without much R* North involvement from what i recall.

its a good handheld i took the plunge over the weekend and enjoying the games, i've actually not bought anything at retail and relied on PS+ to get myself going and enjoying the Uncharted game a hell of a lot.

It's the same as the PSP, its going to be a slow burner and its catalogues going to be mostly remembered for games at the tail end of its lifespan.

Also Gravity rush is an actual gem of a little game i've only had like 25min playing it but im enjoying it more than a few other games i've gotten my hands on the past couple of months.

I hope they do push it more at E3 now the PS4's launched i can see them really bringig the vita into the equation considering how the vita's being billed as a companion for the PS4 :P

Who cares. Go Seahawks!

a team with that arrgoant little cretin we know as Sherman needs humbled, average performance last night he is nowhere near the best in his position in the league with his attitude. Not to mention the poor ref call on that fumble was just horrible with Bowman out its looking rocky for the niners next season in that position.

I've never actually said this in my whole time of watching but by god Sherman needs a slap or a mahooosive fine his attitude just annoys me so much especially that post game interview i really do hope Manning and company take him down a few pegs in 2 weeks time.

If you really believe anything you said you don't watch many seahawk games. Dude is a beast big mouth or not.

i just dont like him in particular and think the seahawks overall are a tad overrated and he reinforces the stereotype a lot of people hold that they tend to be an obnoxious lot.

But the ref call on that fumble annoyed me, sure Kap did give up the ball in the 4th quarter and as a niner fan i accept that but honestly i've been saying it all season someone needs to take Sherman down a peg

as time has progressed, gaming has become less of a niche hobby/form of entertainment and developers, publishers and investers have subsequently adapted to the market thats why games have been "dumbed down" is more or less to appeal to a broader market and thus sell more and in return more money which makes the people providing the funds for developement more happy.

Its the way every creative industry works, theres still many many alternative less mainstream options fulfilling the needs of those who wish for such products and the ones which appeal to a much broader market.

Simple as it gets, some idiots on this board (primarily hipsters/ people who live in the past) who will never seem to grasp this, theres still many games which will fill your needs for those things like complexity the only thing is one must do a bit of legwork.
