24" Widescreen flat panel (Dell 2407FWP). Received it two weeks ago, many modern games suppport widescreen settings. Running in 1900x1200. Colors are looking wonderful, contrast and brigthness are very good, no noticeable ghosting. Before this screen I had a 19" CRT (Dell M991).

Rogues and warriors are easy to play. Druids are pretty much the hardest to play.-Unreal-
I don't agree with that, I'm not easy to play, ask my wife...

hmm how much did that pc cost u again? idk y people buy prebuilt knowing they can save over 500+ bucks on it but still a good pc wel thank u for posting pics its not like we were asking to much

I paid a little less than 3,000.00 euro, that's about 3,575.00 dollar (Including a 17" flatpanel). I know I could have saved some bucks if I builded it my self. I just didn't feel like it, as I said earlier I've done enough building in my early days with 286, 386,486, P100 and PII machines. Nah, I've had it with browsing for and comparing components. I prefer prebuilds nowadays, my last three systems were all Dell systems. I know the views differ greatly on Dell, but I have good experiences with them and find the quality of their systems very good. About every three years I buy a new system that's almost top notch, this way I can keep up with the rising hardware demands of the gaming industry. Yeah, that's a lie, it's just plain fun to buy a brand new computer! --- Dell XPS600 3.2GHz Dual core + HT (800MHz FSB) 2x1MB Cache 2GB 667MHz DDR2 2x500GB SATA (Raid-0) Dual 256MB Geforce 7800GTX (SLI) SB XF-i Xtreme 7.1 Altec Lansing surroundset

At this moment I'm at the 57th position on the list of oldest gamers in this thread, if I counted well that is. (But what idiot is gonna check that?).

I am 35.

Started with a 'Pong'-console and in '82 a Commodore 64, I own about 370 games, check out my profile for all the details.

I'd also pick "Half-Life 2" and "World of Warcraft".

Other games I found very good: "F.E.A.R.", "Halo 1" and "Far Cry".

"Battlefront 2" is a great looking game, but I'm not really into war-games, all that violence you know...

cuz the thread is called "Rate My Rig & Post Your Computer Specs/Pics", not "Rate My Custom Built Uber Rig That Makes People Jealous & Post Original Specs/Pics to Prove It's Really Mine"
He's not the first to post normal specs of a prebuilt pc and not wanna do anymore with it. This whole I don't believe you stuff is dumb, unless it's specs of a top o the line gaming megarig that maybe a percent of a percent of people could afford.
plalm
Thanks for backing me up here Plalm. Shall we all now leave it at this, since it's getting really off topic now. @macpop: I'll be happy to post my specs gathered with CPU-Z (Downloaded it already), I'll try and see to do it this weekend, maybe I'll throw in a 'personal'-pic too... ;)

[QUOTE="rambolito"]Well, I actually do own this system really. But since I'm at work most of the times when visiting Gamespot I did not have the option to make a picture of my configuration(s). Then again, a picture doesn't tell everything either 'cause I can write down any specs I like if I wanted to. So maybe we all should scan and post our invoices. andyroo08

Well IMO, I like seeing pics of other ppls PCs not really as proof of what they have, but out of interest of how they have it setup like cooling etc. Kinda pointless posting a pic from the manufacturer's website....cause if I wanted to see that i would go to the website.....
Also as most people on these forums are familiar with hardware, it's easy to tell if someone is lying about their specs if they post pics of the inside of their comp.

Ok, I agree with that, but my PC is a standard out of the box machine, so it doesn't look very special on the inside, which pictures also can be found online by the way. In this case the only interesting thing about my system are the specs. I'm also not gonna do anything fancy with my comp in the future, I've done enough building in my early days, so it's just me and my boring standard XPS (Which is working great for me!).
