For me GTA is the greatest uninspired overhyped game. It's a matter of oppinion I guess. But what I meant is: if the producers and publishers give consumers what they want people still complain, so people are complaining just for the joy of not agreeing. Nintendo build their consumer wallet in expense of these IPs and their consumers want more Marios and Zeldas, and it's what they are releasing, instead of what consumers say to Capcom and Square-Enix, that releases anything but what people want.

So, gamespot is complaining for Nintendo doing what every consumer expects their favorite publishers do? Nintendo is like Rockstar, Acivision, EA, and so on. Every now and then there is a new IP but what makes them grand are their roots. Nintendo is doing exactly what people want from Square-Enix (look at them now).
