Sup fellas.

So...reached the woodland spirit quest.

Did it sven's way first. Then thought to try the elder's way..

After seeing through the consequences of doing it the elder's way...i heard it!!!

The grassland theme OST from Heroes of Might & Magic 4(HoMM4)..its soooo unique!!! Iam dead sure it is. Whoever is familiar with HoMM4 ...and reach this quest...try doing the quest the elder's way and have a listen to the OST playing at the back...its the grassland theme from HoMM4.

From what i remember, the composer for HoMM4 was Paul Romero.

Folks who recognize this, feel free to add a note, +1 the topic..you know the drill. The OST is from one of my all-time favorite games. Felt a wave of nostalgia wash over me...thought i'd share it!

Damn, I just can't get enough of this game!!!!! Somebody help!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, to the point!!! Now that DkS2 was shown at E3, most gameplay concerns were laid to rest, with the successor proving itself a worthy if not tougher sequel!!! But as i find myself playing Dark Souls, i find the manner of Archaic speech the NPC's use deeply involving, conveying a certain sense of timelessness, loss , depth..all kinda mixed really, but you get the idea right?......I hope the NPC's continue in this vein in DkS2 as well, especially considering that most signs point toward it being a prequel!!!......Your thoughts on this will be greatly appreciated!!! Also, although not having played Demon's Souls, but having seen enough of it, i find the overall score by 'Shunsuke Kida' better than what 'Motoi Sakuraba' has delivered. But, having said that both were awesome. I just find myself leaning to more of the tracks in Demon's Souls over Dark Souls, although Dark Souls did have 2 gems in 'Nameless Song' & 'Gwyn, Lord of Cinder'!!! Hope these are valid points/concern, well, at least they are, for me!!!

I think the new game is great from all angles, although i have to agree on certain issues pointed out already. Missing lock-on system was a bit sad, kinda like god of war-ish?..Also, while the combat system is very refined and a lot of fun, its missing a certain ferocity/brutality? of the original series. For a better understanding, type 'Dante crazy combos' in youtube for a better picture!!:) While i agree that the original series was a complete mess (in terms of chronological order and coninuity), DMC1 & DMC3 were absolutely astounding, such great memories, and more importantly, i feel the 2 games gave that vibe of demon-slaying and a hint of underlying ??sadness??. I think Capcom should have really worked on sort of the original series' continuity, instead of throwing their hands up in the air and going for a re-boot(which is nice in its own way, but really cant compare with DMC 1 and 3). I think the reboot is just sort of jarring, and will take a whole generation of fans of the original series to come over to the new one(a period of transition??), but man, i still miss the original series!!!!
