I already have a X360... I don't need BC. However, if PS4 has it that is something I can get behind. There are quite a few PS3 games I have wanted to play but can't because I never really wanted to spend $300 on a console that already plays most of the big titles I already can play. BC should be viewed as a good reason to switch brands you missed out last gen. Useless to people that buy every console. Extremely useful to people that picked a side and don't mind switching next gen.
I'm kind of bummed that Pikmin 2 finally got a NA release date. I held out, for years waiting for nintendo to throw me a bone. I finally gave up and bought a used GC edition. A month later, the announcement. Unfortunately I already own the game now so I won't be getting it - even though I asked for it repeatedly the whole time.
No. Having tried out the first on the X360 there is no reason for me to have even spent the money I did for one copy of the first game... FF just needs to die and get replaced with something fun.
If you didn't like ME2 then I highly doubt you'll like 3.

So far everything they said is that they went back to 1's formula and beefed up the RPG elements and added a real action game.
Early reports are that Mass Effect 2's garbage was thrown away and everything that was good in 1 was enhanced
I saw some footage, looks like the leveling system is a hybrid of the 2, simple yet complicated... If you didnt like 2 your not gonna like 3. The best part of the series is the choices and story. IMO Its even better that it has good combat
Having liked the first and wanting them to fix that one, ME2 promised to do it. They gutted everything that was broken and introduced new stuff that was also broken while simultaneously nerfing most things that weren't broken. They are saying that they fixed the things wrong with ME2 for the 3rd game. Fool me once, shame on you; Fool me twice though... not at full price that is for sure. I've also already got my review shield up - the one where every critic says this is the best game ever with them all being lies. ME3 is a pass. Does anyone know anyone that makes good RPG's these days?

To each their own I guess, but myself, as well as many friends really enjoyed the game. The second one is better, and I never got to play the third, but I will be getting it on my GC soon.
I just realized where the confusion was in my statement - The first RS I played was on the GC and it was the launch title - RS2. It is the only one I have played. It had so much talk about it and it was star wars so I figured I would love it. I hated every second of it. I won't touch another RS game just based on that experience.

I wanted to be a fan of Mass Effect, it did take me two tries to get into the first game because I have read so much of the fiction elements in other stories over the years - eventually I got over that and enjoyed it. I even picked up the first two books. Before the second game I realized I had missed the comics, and an iPhone game... then I played the second game and then started the onslaught of DLC. I hear right now that the reapers actually came back in one of the DLC's... At this point I'm just not interested anymore. With so much out there to play I'm just not able to keep up with this series, nor want to follow a game that costs so much for what I get out of it.
I think variety is the key to a good gaming console so for those that would like a game like this, more power to them. The first time I played it was when I was going back into the GC library for my Wii. Unfortunately I thought the first RS was horrible IMO; only any good because it was a launch game and people didn't really have many options at the time.
The first Mario Party I have played was the DS edition. I have been wanting to pick up one of these for a console but they never seem to drop in price, other than the Wii party thing... I think I'll finally go in on MP8 seeming it won't have a price drop for years.
