The internet talks about how awesome it is going to be just because of some flashy trailer. Meanwhile the masses simply won't care. Seriously you think FFXV and KH3 will be good just because they are on PS4? LOL SE have completely forgotten what made the series compelling. Its game over for FF. Lightning Returns shows that.

A bunch of brainwashed forum posters does not equal mass market success. Final Fantasy is a shadow of its former self and a platform shift won't change that. Watch as the masses give it the finger as they have realized the truth that Final Fantasy is garbage now and nobody cares besides a bunch of blind nostalgic fanboys who still believe anything SE tell them.

XIII-2 will make this right. We promise. Ok Lightning Returns then...... but we still have Versus. Now its XV. Yes you have XV but when the XIII trilogy and XIV sucked hard why will this be different? No chance this game will be profitable after how long its been in DH. As for Kingdom Hearts 3 you just haven't seen Square Enix screw it up yet. It will still suck. These flopping will finally lead to the death of this company and I can't wait until all the fanboys wake up and see what flops these two games are. lol flashy trailers = win amirite SE defense force? BTW what did great graphics do to FFXIII again?

Pre-orders are bad because the release date is pretty far away. They'll pick up when it gets closer. It's Call of Duty with mechs. EA hope people will eat that shit up and ask for seconds.

Fixed that for you. Seriously interest won't just go up as release nears. GTA V and CoD got pre-orders the second they popped up. CoD with mechs is just another cheap imitation as far as people are concerned. Lemmings wish it could be CoD level but no. Being online only will just make it especially harder to even sniff CoD let alone beat it.

Titanflop is guaranteed to fail. Its a very bad business decision on MS' part. The game having bad pre-orders indicates it wasn't wise to invest in keeping a game few care about rather then investing that money into a new game.

MS will regret it when it doesn't live up to their (or more importantly EA's) expectations. As said above it is also a bad business decision on EA's part keeping it off the console which has received far more interest from the masses.

Its no secret that despite the constant talk by MS and EA the "hype" for Titanfall is not being reflected by the masses. Pre-orders are terrible. But how bad are they? Are they much better on PC and 360? The problem I saw with Titanfall is it chose the console which will obviously have the smallest online community of the two consoles but low pre-orders on the other systems.

Picking the console it did will obviously make it the biggest flop of 2014 anyway but would being on PS4 help it sell any better anyway?

Except Phil Spencer said that their tactic of money hatting is working for them in his latest interview. Why are you lemmings getting your hopes up that MS will actually make good use of their studios for their own games when Phil Spencer himself admitted they don't?

I thought studios owned by MS didn't matter. The fact that you point out they own them and Philly says they aren't using them means you secretly hate their tactic.

This tactic of MS' will backfire if X1 struggles out the gate.

To the people saying it will go on Playstation and Xbox.... it won't. Publishers won't pay for it. They didn't when they had the chance to and they won't when it flops on Wii U. Companies don't want to put it on PS3/360/PS4/X1 even if you want it on them. Deal with it.

@BigShotSmoov007 The problem is (as I mentioned above) EA will just do with their exclusive offerings what Ubisoft did with their's on Wii U. What MS need to do is make their own true exclusives and not constantly money hat. That is not good for the long term especially if X1 gets in a bad situation. Its sad when Xbox fanboys already insisted MS was building all these new studios and restructuring so they could go all out and bring loads of true exclusives to the show. Yet their E3 confirmed the theories of the naysayers that they are still using timed exclusives to carry it.

That might work with an established console which has been around for nearly 8 years but it won't work for a new console. EA will bail just like Ubisoft did. This is another reason MS will be at a serious disadvantage in the next few years. Sony saw with PS3 third parties aren't reliable and Nintendo have known this for ages. One thing that will please you is MS will definitely be pushed and you will be able to see what they can really deliver when they are in panic mode.

You may not believe me, but when you see MS can deliver the types of Halo/Forza games you have been playing and deliver more variety then you realize, you will turn critical of how they handled their exclusives the past four years. When you see them deliver Forza, Halo and other dead franchises or new IPs all in a space of three years you will wonder why they haven't been doing that all this time.

Yes exclusive rights are nothing new but we all know MS is slacking in their own end of things. You'll find out in a few years when they suddenly start flooding real exclusives in your face.

Activision isn't put muching backing into Microsoft? Your kidding me right? This is the same Activision that has had a what, 3,4 or 5 year deal with MS with COD and dlc. That Activision?

Which is what I said earlier. CoD DLC. We know why they are doing CoD DLC. When you look at Sony having exclusive rights to Destiny content and Diablo III content on PS4 it is obvious they aren't backing X1 as much. They are only doing CoD DLC out of "tradition".

For WB if Injustice was going to be on there it would be. There is no reason why it shouldn't be. I can understand Sony paying for a port on Vita but do you really think they would waste money on Injustice to keep it exclusive to their next gen system when it is on everything else? Its like the conspiracy that Nintendo has an extended contract to keep Revelations off Vita. Its not on there because of concerns of sales. If it wasn't on 360 and PC as well that theory might have weight but it exists on competitor's platforms. So why isn't it on X1?

Exactly but Sony extremist just can't wrap their mind around that. MS had Killer Instint and that's a first party title to them so they really don't want another fighting game on their console taking away from those sales. Maybe some point down the line it will come out for the XBO or maybe not but really who cares, I have it on the 360 and I'm happy with it.

More Cow nonsense. SHOCKER!!!!! There wasn't a publisher in the world that wanted Microsoft to do their 180. And the reason Injusice is not coming to the XB1? Simple. Killer Instinct. Either WB Games or Microsoft decided 2 fighters so close to launch was too many.

No. There is absolutely no reason why Injustice shouldn't be on X1. And that also doesn't explain Diablo III. Go dig up and you'll see Warner Bros don't believe MS can get away with it.

http://www.destructoid.com/warner-bros-believes-in-wii-u-despite-slow-start--256522.phtml

Tell yourself every developer wanted it but the truth is only the greediest of the greedy thought they would get away with it. Strauss Zelnick of Take 2 made similar comments. He said it was up to the content makers to deal with it. Not push your luck and take away our rights. But yeah you guys tell yourselves every company wanted it. Truthfully, some companies out there aren't stupid and know blocking used games is pushing your luck too hard. EA and MS are the ones who cried at not getting away with it. Nobody else.

Activision and Warner Bros aren't putting as much backing behind X1 because they know MS can't get away with that BS.

Lol gl. X1 and ps4 are both going out sell wii u. If there is a consummer base. The game will be there, like it or not.

lol what you are ignoring is the consumer base is only available on 360 like it is because of Sony's mistakes. Robby Bach even said so.

http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2012-05-14-robbie-bach-puts-xbox-success-down-to-sonys-mistakes

Every single consumer they won over is going to buy a PS4 because it is cheaper and MS can always bring the DRM policies back tomorrow. It isn't something people will bend over for just for Halo, Forza or early CoD DLC. The public aren't stupid. They know MS can bring them back the second they feel like it. The fanbase will be a few fanboys who took used game fees as the future because MS told them to. They aren't worth serving a port for when PS4 is set to sell out well until April.

X1 has had no such proof. Its all damage control. Everyone I know is saying its either "too late" or "PS4 is still cheaper". Its probably not much different in your street.

In short = the people who boycotted Sony this gen are going back to their garden.

I find it funny Warner Bros and Take 2 both said they didn't think MS would get away with their anti-consumer BS and you guys are ignoring an incoming trend.

Agent is on PS4 according to leaks. No X1. Even though after being in development hell surely it makes sense to grab MS' next gen console by the horns.

Then we have Injustice. And Diablo III.

All the lemmings assuming they are getting third party support just because of 360 are going to feel buyers remorse to no end. It is going to be funny watching all the lemmings suddenly speak the truth about FF XV when the X1 version gets canned. The truth being Final Fantasy sucks now.

Companies are telling X1 where to go even before it is being released. In Wii U's case, some were on board whereas every developer on board 360 should be on board X1 as well. If it is missing three big third party releases before the system is already out you should be very suspicious. Titan Fall is going to be so Rayman Legends delayed when EA's games flop on it. That means it will go to PS4 as well. After that the cancellations will start to happen and X1 will be as barren as the original Xbox was for third party support. Only one Japanese company was on board Xbox by the end of it's life and thats because the developer at the time (Itagaki) wanted the most power.

It is going to be hilarious watching these lemmings baa about third parties being traitors or their games really sucking because every multiplat in 2014 and 2015 will skip the console. But this is what you get for getting greedy. I wonder what excuses companies will have for copping out of an X1 version. Piracy? Power? Online capabilities? I can't wait to see it.
