For what it's worth, I watched the first 5 minutes of game play from a Let's Play video and decided I didn't want to play (or buy) the game.
I checked out the game because it had strong reviews. I imagine many others had similar reactions, which may be one reason the game has high view counts and low sales.
On the other hand, I understand why the developers would be frustrated to see their game get high review scores and publicity yet not see the corresponding revenue materialize, leading them to look for scapegoats (such as Let's Play videos) to explain their lack of financial success.
Misogynistic? This game portrays all characters in a demeaning light, including all three of the main protagonists who are each illustrated with their own flaws.
I have even better science ideas for GTA V, there should be personal cloaking devices, nanobody medications and car mounted death lasers because experimental technology in these fields happen to exist somewhere in the world. I don't want to hear this fool describing any of his ideas as being "science" again when it's just another 'I want X in GTA V.'
This game's overt sexuality is going to get it greater press attention and forum coverage, which translates into greater sales. This happened with the Tomb Raider series, and it's happening again with Dragon's Crown. Ironic how all the sensitive people decrying the game's sexuality end up promoting its sales.
