These games actually go back to the King's Field series ( 1 thru 3 if I remember), King's Field: the Ancient City and a Ring one that was forgettable. I played them all, except for the Ring one, more than once.
Just what I was afraid of, 3 hours 3 bosses. Considering you don't get far in a new game in the first few hours I am assuming these bosses were actually fairly close together. The series has devolved into short corridors between bosses. And I hate boss fights.
I may be wrong but most agree Demon's Souls was the best of the series and it was much more RPG than Dark Souls or BB. I've bought every game this company has made in this series, from King's Field on, maybe not this time.
Good article but what I want to know is if the game is continuing the trend of getting shorter and shorter between more and more boss fights. I think the series is not getting better since Demon's Souls or even as good. I don't like this trend which is killing the replay value for me.
Didn't Bethesda rule out a Fallout 4? Anyway, Fallout 4 should be set somewhere that has a variety of landscapes, not just in a city like Boston. And no, the area around Boston isn't very diverse either. Why does it even need to be on earth? You don't need to be post apocalypse on another planet and having diverse environs is easy.
