i think as far as comparing the different versions, yeah there isn't much difference and alot of it is PR hype, as in real world experience both consoles will deliver almost the same experience.

but in saying that,, if you have both consoles, or a console and a gaming pc, you will still, in most cases choose the superior version regardless of how much real world benifits you will see or not see... its just common sense,

if u give u two of the same products for the same price, but one version performs slightly better and u know there isn't much real world difference but on paper its better,, you will still purchase that version,,

in my opinion the wii u is a great console,

i don't know what it can do to improve, as i'm not a marketing guru, but as far as personal opinion its great, and if it had more games i'd play it alot more then the ps3,

see i dont get the last point, in the begingin she says there really isnt much difference in terms of graphics and performance,

then at the end she says the ps4 is focused on gaming and xbox is a living room consolidation unit,, what i dont get is, how is the xbox not just as focused on gaming just because it has other features,,

the iphone is just as much a phone as the nokia8250 even tho it has other features that the nokia phones ddin't,

at the end of the ay, it comes down to is the 100 dollars extra worth the extra features like tv, because thats the only major difference,, as far as gaming, your pretty much going to get the same ballpark experience.

@chaazin but who is going to have two tv's of the same model next to each other just to compare graphics, i'm talking about user experience,

so whether your gaming on xbox one or ps4, its almost going to give u the same experience,

just like ps3 and xbox 360,,

as a ps3 owner, and former 360 owner, until rrod, i personally don't see a difference between xbox and ps3, sure the graphics might be slightly better but their in the same ball park,

for me, the slightly less graphical trade is worth the extra tv stuff, buti understand thats its not for everyone,

the xbox does what the ps4 does, it plays games,

1, multi plat games run roughly the same,

2. xbox one has more games as of right now,

3. the tv stuff is extra, for convienence

everyone is sounding so stupid with these fanboy comments,

if you purchased one over the other, that means u prefer that particular console, and thats it,,,

end of the day, both are great, it just depends on what u feel u will have more fun with.,,,

stop trying to make your purchase justified by slaming the competing product, imagine the ps4 had no competition, or the xbox one had no comeptition, neither console would be as good..

we have two great new consoles with great games and great graphics,, just enjoy them for gods sakes,,

also, fanboys talking about superior graphics,, go buy a pc,,

initially i pre ordered a ps4, but then realised that even tho its more powerful i liked the innovation and ideals xbox were doing,

i will no doubt eventually purchase a ps4 later down the road, maybe when the first price drop, or when more games are released but at the momemt i'm happy with the xbox one and my pc for gaming.

i havent' read any specific numbers, so i don't know where u got the 2 to 4 times the performance boost comes from.,

but as far as virtualisation, just look at all the company's using vmware or hyper v for virtual server environments, and the numerous company's using VDI as a solution..

imagin 'onlive' mixed with physical hardware on the user end,, thats what xbox one are doing, they have the hardware to handle some of the applications, and they have virtualised servers to handle other applications,,

now it just depends how they virtualise and what they virtualising,, but its definetely probable to boost performance..

so not having played the first one, i picked this up.

as someone who is used to tabs, i found the interface hard to adjust, as its coming towards you as apposed to left to right,

i think the best way to learn still, is from actually learning the tabs, and then practising by playing along in this game,,

but as far as learning a song u have never heard of thru rocksmith, it might be difficult as everything moves too fast and u don't have time to learn the fingering and positioning before the next notes are played

i just have to say, if u don't think 2k plays like a real game, then ur not playing it properly,

its the most realistic emulation of a sport in video format i can think of,

apart from say forza with motorsports, but as far as team sports, this beats anything by fifa, nhl, nfl etc. in terms of how close to the real life sport this recreates
