Do you have any games that your Wii seems to make an incredible amount of noise while playing them? My Wii makes a ton of noise when I play Boom Blox that I haven't noticed as much with other games. Are there certain games that happens to with your Wii?
My right arm is killing me. The muscles in my arm are sore from my biceps down to my elbow on my inner arm. I got Boom Blox in a 2 for $40 deal at Roger's yesterday and it was so much fun that I played it for a total of about 5 hours. Actually I picked up 2 copies of Boom Blox because I'm hoping to get someone to trade me Mario Kart Wii or Mario Galaxy for the other copy.
I totally think that Gamespot dropped the ball on the review for this game. It should have easily gotten an 8.5 or 9.0.
The developers of a Lego Superman would have to purposely set out to make a horrible game that nobody would want to play....just to keep it in line with every other Superman video game.
@pjmthomas: Hey thanks for that tip. After my adventurers failed so miserably the first time, I never even tried again to see if the Dark Lord's HP recovered or not. That's good to know.
BTW, that 300 point dungeon pack...does anyone else here think that's something that should've been included from the start? I really didn't feel like that was something I should have had to spend extra money on. I can understand the costume changes costing extra, and maybe even the Shrine (maybe), but what those 11 new dungeons are unlocking all seem like things I should have had in the first place (like helmet plating). Any opinions on that?

Another hint that I have is to have a national holiday the day before you try to battle the dark lord. That way you have all of your adventurers at full health. I never did finish some of the high level dungeons. I was at the point that I couldn't spend all of my money or elementite. You can only get to 9999 of each and then you just stop accruing it. Out of my 40 houses I had 25 spacious houses and 5 of each for the 3 different races. I was bringing in around 1200 or 1300 a day in tithes alone.
I've played about 180 game days. My adventurers are in the 30 level range. I was able to defeat the dark lord at this level with my adventurers, however it took me a couple of days of fighting. The Dark Lord's HP does not recover thus you don't have to worry about defeating him on the first try.
The original Shenmue on the Dreamcast was one of the greatest gaming experiences of my life, it was such a great game. I picked up the second one for the XBox used, but I never really got into it. I would totally love to see both on the Wii and to see Sega actually finish the story. That's a lot to ask, but I can dream, can't I?

I remember reading an interview with the development team when the first Shenmue came out that it was going to be the first in a 16 part series. I love the first two games and if this does get ported I will be in line on day 1 buying it.
