I've finished the game, but I'm not sure I remember who Yiazmat is.  Which one is that?

FF X-2.  I bought it right away, I loved FF X and was really excited about it.  It Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked.  The game itself wasn;t HORRIBLE per se, but it seemed like they put very little effort into making it.  It was like taking a tour of FFX because the scenes were the EXACT same... most disapointing.  Dirge of cerberus was weak too.  Like an idiot, I bought it because I was hoping to see some FF7 similarities.  These guys could package a game of PONG into a box that says Final Fantasy on it and idiots like myself would probably buy it.

Balthier from FF12  Cid from FF7 Riku from FFX and that old man that lived on the moon in FF2 (Fusoya or something like that).. I mean, he lived on the moon and knew every magic possible.  The worst ones are any of the ones from FF9, ewwww.

Such a great game!!! The battle system was the best one yet IMO.  You could be involved if you want, you could make it turn based if you want.  It looked more realistic because the characters are walking around and running.  It was nice to not get pissed off because of an unwanted random encounter.  At first, the damn lines REALLY bothered me, but then I realised I could turn them off and all was good.  Give it some time, you'll get used to it quickly and enjoy the game.  I agree with the person that said the story was a little weak, but that's only by FF standards.

Sounds like a pain to me.  I haven;t played the game, so I have no idea what you're talking about.  Sadly, I can;t be of much help, but no one answered so I thought I'd say something.  If it's ESSENTIAL in the game to get those things, I'm sure you won;t have to start over...also check out a walkthrough for that game.  I hope someone else can give better help...good luck!

Vaan is as whiny and sissy as Tidus (the scene where he pretends he's Basch makes me want to puke.)  Balthier gets nearly as much air time as he does though and balthier is my favorite FF character ever, especially when he makes fun of Vaan.  Both FFX and FF12 are great games in spite of those 2 characters...  play the games, you won;t be disapointed.

I couldn't stand it, I couldn't finish it because I got so bored with it.  I thought the characters and the monsters were really bland.  A lot of people seem to like it, maybe I'll give it another try if I find the time and patience.

Legend of Dragoon?  Damn that was a good game, I thought everyone forgot about it.  I'd love to see a remake of that, but for some reason it wasn;t very popular, so I can;t see it happening, especially since it was so long.

stick to the guaranteed winners.. Dragon Quest and Star Ocean 3, hard to find anyone that says anything bad about them.  Also, if you can find it, check out Legend of Dragoon, its a PS1 game, but its incredible.   And no one ever talks about it.....  Check out some images and storyline and stuff like that to see if youre interested.  If it HAS to be a PS2 game, Id say avoid Suikoden (it's so plain) and go for DQ or SO, for sure depending on your tastes.
