You must live in the middle of nowhere because these experiences are not representative of the test of the country. I called store in several states that I use to live as well as my local stores and NONE of them had any.

The Walmart website list that most stores have stock (I checked zip codes in several states). HOWEVER, I called a few of the store and they are totally sold out and do not expect stock until after Christmas. I suspect the website reflects pre orders or lay away items that have not yet been picked up.

I got my wiiu yesterday but have yet to open it. The games I am really interested in, pikmin 3 and lego city undercover, won't be released until new years eve day, and the lack of tvii means that it probably won't get used at all until the holidays. So now I am just considering selling it to make a quick profit and then get a new one in January when the supply should be a bit better. My question is if there are any compelling features that would make it worth while to keep even though it won't be used much for a while.

Wait until after black Friday. Despite what others say there is nothing wrong with selling for a profit. Should owners of Babe Ruth rookie cards sell those for a penny because it was originally sold in packs for 5 cents? Should home owners sell their houses for the same price they paid in 1980? No, if you own something you are free to sell it for whatever people are willing to pay. Heck the $450 price mentioned in a previous post is hardly gouging. The original owner had to pay sales tax, paid for transportation or shipping fees, and spend their time to acquire the console. I know people who have hired personal shoppers and they charge a lot more. You bought one wiiu and are looking to sell it. It's not like you bought 20 and now little Timmy will not have one because of you.
