Not designed for gamers or by gamers is the sense you will get if you play deep into the experience.

    Diablo III

Not designed for gamers or by gamers is the sense you will get if you play deep into the experience.

All players are herded to the AH like cattle to a slaughter. I spent 10 hours grinding to get gear to progress only to realize eventually that it simply would not drop. It is not intended to drop. Y...

eclectic mix of many genres best qualities. dives a little too deep in some areas that detract but still great game

Such an innovative blend of some of the best characteristics of my favorite genres - FPS, RPG, action. The gunplay and rpg stuff is, for the most part, great but the developers have created some deve...

Doesn't really have the same feel as its predecessors but its still a solid albeit difficult game

Ok I know the shooter world has changed a lot since I've been playing and the difficulty has increased a significant amount to accomodate the millions of players spending 8 hours a day in CoD multipla...

far more satisfying and enjoyable than Diablo 2 ever was

You honestly have to expect that a Diablo clone would eventually eclipse Diablo itself in satisfying gameplay and design and in my mind, Torchlight does that. Sure production values aren't to the lev...

Ugh, they should have changed the name to god of Ninja and even then it still sux

    Ninja Gaiden 3

Ugh, they should have changed the name to god of Ninja and even then it still sux

You just can't change directions like this mid-franchise and expect NOT to get slammed. It's like Dark Souls releasing a Diablo'esque button mashing sequel to the last installment. Everything that m...

Contrived difficulty, faulty camera and lock-on system and grinding/farming as a core mechanic make this game so tedious

Contrived difficulty, faulty camera and lock-on system and grinding/farming as a core mechanic make this game so tedious

I've been gaming for a really long time but I've never written a review before, though this game deserves to be written about. The first 15 hours are excruciating and that discomfort is further inf...

Refreshing deviation from the same ole CoD MW 1,2,3 rinse and repeat formula. Incredibly innovative and engrossing

Refreshing deviation from the same ole CoD MW 1,2,3 rinse and repeat formula. Incredibly innovative and engrossing

To see such a brave title as Bulletstorm go mostly unnoticed by gamers that prefer the EXACT same FPS experience year after year from the CoD franchise, is very disappointing. Bulletstorm formula...

Amazing open-world experience. Best in series and likely one of the best RPGs ever made.

    The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Amazing open-world experience. Best in series and likely one of the best RPGs ever made.

There is so much good to say about this game: graphics, environments, art design, NPCs, voice acting, story, size of the world, etc... It's an unbelievable experience but i do have a couple quibbles...

    Super charming little platformer!!

My kids love this game. My 5 year old can play some levels though difficulty ramps past her abilities very quickly. Never-the-less, she keeps coming back! gameplay is wonderfully structured so its ...

Genuinely stunned Bioware cashed in so quickly on DA:O's well earned success with such garbage.

    Dragon Age II

Genuinely stunned Bioware cashed in so quickly on DA:O's well earned success with such garbage.

To so drastically change such a wonderful and winning formula as DAO in order to quick-release a sequel for cash-out exploitation of it's fan-base, is criminal. DAO was epic, sprawling, engaging, det...

Engrossing and addictive but with some issues. Feel like a lot of potential wasn't realized.

Frankly, the Gamespot reviewer really nailed this review in my eyes so I'll avoid familiar territory. I love the story, environments and characters but the gamplay and control mechanisms are a bit fr...
